  • I did a walk+jog program. Granted, this would depend on how big you really are - but power-walking with 15 seconds of jogging here and there helps. Once you build up strength, you can increase the time spent jogging and decrease time spent walking.
  • Oh hey! I actually just wrote a running app for beginners! When I started training 6 years ago, I was 280lbs and could barely run for 5 minutes. The lowest I've got with my weight is 195lbs and the furthest I've ran was 17.5 miles. I'm no longer quite as sleek and suave as I was at my peak, but all of my experiences with…
  • Oh thanks for letting me know about the butter =)
  • What's the reasoning for cutting the butter?
  • You can add butter ontop of them ;) I just wanted to have a good base to make some delicious shortcakes. :D Now I'm researching different types of flour one could use to reduce the calories and increase the protein content.
  • Thanks! I've lost 70lbs already buy I hit a plateau and I'd like to join a community to keep me on track and accountable. Thank you! My issue I think is that I'm too active and I'm not sure how much to eat now. I was running 5x a week and lifting 6x but I've trimmed my exercising down because it's not fun for me anymore ha.
  • I understand your pain. I've lost about 75lbs the last two years (275 down to 200, recent average was 203), and this last week I snapped. Stopped exercising, stopped eating healthy, and hell consumed everything in sight. Now I'm at 207. Sweet. In about one week I packed on enough calories to gain four pounds. I looked at…
  • Congratulations! You look fantastic hun. I'm fighting right now to normalize my eating habits. I'm guessing the hardest part for you was the first couple weeks you started making the initial big changes (from vegetarian to veganism?) What kept you pushing onward?
  • I don't feel guilty, I'm more afraid of what will happen if I continue the trend. I was at 275, got down to 200, and now I'm at around 212. In the last 10 days I went from 203 to 212 --- while staying physically active and still running a bit (6.4 miles outdoors in under an hour), so I know that a bunch of it is water…
