Well, I don't know if it's a good thing or a bad thing. I really do like those fries once in awhile. I think I may be ruined for life.

In my experience, you get what you pay for. Most home models are pretty chincy. I bought one a few years back and regretted it soon after. They tend to be a bit wobbly and they almost alway squeak like crazy no matter how hard you try to lube it up. I would definately give it a good test run before committing the money.…
