Hi, Stay motivated and use MFP for that kick in the butt! Don't get discouraged and focus on short goals to get you to the larger goal. In reality you want to look and feel good, whatever that may be. Good luck. I know you can do it.

Sounds like you have the right idea. I write down my workout plans sometimes weeks ahead. I can mix and match, move things around or swich my off day if needed. It helps to have it written out in front of you. You can plan body parts etc... good luck

I've done it and I've also done Insanity Asylum. Its a very intense cardio workout but also works your arms, hip flexers, back and chest. Its hard but id commited you can do it. I'm doing a Turbo Fire ? P90X hybrid and I've never sweat or burned as many calories as I have doing the Hiit workouts in Turbo Fire. It makes reguar cardio easy. I'm really likeing it because I'm not a big runner and this workout burns more cals in 30 minutes then if I was to run 10 miles

I use before pictures and tape them around the house. I also use postcards from places I plan on going. Things like your yearbook for reunions, a wedding invitation, etc. Its really whater gets you going.

It seems correct. Everyone is different and depending on intensity everyone will burn a diff amount of calories. However, I think you’re in the ball park. When I couldn't keep up with my kids. I'd say not now, maybe later etc... I now can play and ride all day with them! I'm a kid again at 47. I love feeling the high energy levels and looking good doesn't hurt either!!!

I keep my carbs low anyway but for the folks I coach who want to cut carbs,thats where I have them start. Just cutting the carb at dinner/ later in the evening (pasta, potato, rolls etc...) for a couple of weeks with regular exercise, you will see a difference. I agree - get into a routine, schedule it in a planner if you have to. write down the workouts for the week, allowing yourself to switch them around if something comes up. Pick the time of day that works best with no distractions and use that same time each day you exercise.

I usually have a shakeology but I'll also have fruit with 4 slices of Turkey bacon with a high protein low carb drink from time to time. Large amounts of carbs are found in the man made stuff. If you can go natural you'll cut the carbs.
