  • @mojonah thank you!
  • 5021879/uploads/editor/8f/ehmikbvznzd4.jpeg Have kept the weight off for 4 years and now finally losing the last 10-15.
  • Is it too late to jump in? I'm on the last 10-15lbs of my weight loss and it's proven to be the most stubborn yet. Height: 4'10" 12/1: 119lbs. 12/29: 122lbs. Christmas was rough, but I'm back on track and hoping the bloat will soon retreat.
  • Always looking for people with similar goals who are friendly and support one another.
  • Feel free to add me. I haven't stepped foot in a gym since I began this journey and I am over 30 pounds down with about 10-15 to go. I do have free weights and a bench that I use all the time. I also use FitnessBlender.com for workout ideas and videos. They have really kept me going. I also run and walk and come up with my…
  • Change up your workouts. Try some pilates, yoga and strength training. I used to think I was ok with cardio. I truly despise cardio. I do it, but I don't typically enjoy it. But pilates, yoga and weight lifting are great for trimming the waist line. Also, be sure to be aware of what you are eating. Even if you are in a…
  • Feel free to add me. I only have about 10 to lose, but it feels like it's going super slow. Plus, friends are always nice and I am on daily and try to be motivating and have an open diary.
  • If there is still time, I'm in. Always up for a good challenge.
  • When you feel a binge coming on, try reaching for something with nutritional value. Have a bowl of oatmeal with some fruit. It's filling. I am the same way. I can sit and eat probably 20 cookies, a whole tub of ice cream, cupcakes, frosting, chips and soda to top it off in one sitting because they aren't filling foods and…
  • You may think your goals are small because they aren't as daunting as saying "I want to lose 50 pounds over the next year". But, when it comes to tricking the mind, try for EVEN SMALLER goals. Don't eat junk food for a day. I have been at this whole weight loss/fitness thing for months and months and I still set tiny goals…
  • Every D*** Day =] I usually do 4-5 days of weight lifting and various strength training and then 3-4 days of intense cardio like HIIT training. My favorite workout has to be legs and booty with cardio intervals. I used to hate it, now I love it. I estimate for now. Use references and such, always low ball it. I think this…
  • Oh pick me! I am on every day and try my hardest to be motivational! I love talking to people and trading off ideas, recipes, exercises and just having fun.
  • I havent stepped foot in a gym since the beginning of my weight loss journey. I think it takes more motivation and self discipline but it can certainly be done and be effective. I use FitnessBlender.com for HIIT And other various workouts and then I lift weights that i bought at a yard sale for cheap. My spare bedroom has…
  • When I went to buy my favorite brand of jeans and I was barely squeezing into the biggest size they made. I had my boyfriend take pictures of me that night and I was disgusted with myself. I had no idea I had put on so much weight in such a short amount of time (probably 20 pounds in a year and a half) and I cried and said…
  • I'm night mover myself. Evening jogs, weightlifting, HIIT, you name it. I feel I am more motivated at night because I already have all my stuff done for the day, don't have to think about work or anything. I think it helps me sleep better too.

  • I'm from Montana too. Don't live there any longer. Wish I did. I'm from Bozeman area and think it is one of the most gorgeous places in the continental US. I love it and might move back.
  • Check your carb intake. Runners need lots of carbs to keep their energy levels up. Healthy carbs of course. And protein, but endurance training requires a larger number of calories and a much greater number of carbs in comparison to strength training or regular cardio. Just food for thought. I am not a good runner cause i…
  • Look into HIIT training and weight lifting. Heavy weights lower reps, you will lose weight and still look fot, not just thin. And HIIT is great for toning up and if you don't like to workout it's quick. 15-30 minutes usually. Check out fitnessblender.com, they have tons of free workout videos from weight lifting to cardio…
  • <23 years old, down 28 pounds. Have about 15 more to go to be where I think I want to be, not sure yet. I would love any new friends. I log daily and really try to be motivational and contribute.
  • Interested. I did so well for a while and now I'm having a difficult time with sweet cravings especially.
  • No, I have not purchased a device because I wasn't certain it would end up being something I used. I have an iPhone5s which is supposed to have a bangin activity monitor in it. So far between MapMyRun, fitbit and I used Withings for a while it seems to work properly and since I almost always have my phone on me I think it…
  • Ok, I will be logging in MFP. The only other exercises I do besides walking and running are HIIT and Weight Lifting and I will log them both via MFP. You guys are great and have been so helpful! I feel a little less intimidated by it all now and perhaps this will be a good thing to keep me moving.
  • Nevermind. Clearly I wasn't thinking. You're TDEE changes day to day because of activity levels, ya?
  • Ok so here is another question in relation. I track my "non-step based" activities on MFP, right? And log the start time and all that craziness? Then when I drop weight do I need to readjust on both MFP and FitBit so that my TDEE is correct. And how does FitBit know my TDEE without knowing my activity level?? O lord, now…
  • Ahh. Netflix marathons, I try to stay away from those because they suck me in like a black hole and usually that black hole has chips and dip too. No good. I think I will try the original suggestion first. Since I'm at 1290 (woop woop). Bring on the steps I suppose.
  • Thanks! I guess I will give it a shot. I only have about 10-15 pounds to lose and 10 of 15 is probably vanity pounds. I will give it a shot. Can't hurt to try I suppose. I have not yet bought a FitBit device because of these confusions, but if it works with my phone, which I am a girl and carry it everywhere, then I think…
  • Does this mean to eat back your "FitBit" calories then. Cause even at .5 pounds a week and sedentary, MFP puts me at 1200 calories and that isshh just isn't going to fly with me. Right now I am set at 1,500 a day, not eating many exercise calories back and this is a custom setup with 40/30/30 macros as well
