  • Ok after saying I dont want to drop under 60 kilos thats exactly what I did today! I am now 59.9 and BMI = 22.5. I am very pleased with myself even though I was happy at 62 kilos a few weeks ago. Seeing the numbers drop on the scale is kinda addictive. Anyway Christmas is coming and the goose will be getting fat.....for a…
  • I am in exactly the same boat. My goal was 62 kilos, but kept slowly dropping, and today I am 59.9 kilos!! Yaayy!! Well its a nice kind of 'problem' to have! But xmas is coming so I guess things will move in the other direction soon, so enjoy the scale reductions for now!!
  • I am 5ft 4 and 133 lbs. I dont want to loose much more. I dont really want to drop below 60kgs. I know it would not be sustainable. Have to get this into my head!! Ha!!
  • Happycamper, thanks for that useful reminder. I did read it before but I forgot the message and your input was most timely. How are you doing?
  • I feel your pain!! I cant get my head around maintenance either. I am at my goal weight of around 61kgs. I have been loosing for 18 months with a slow loss of about 1 kg per month, and Im bored and tired of it now. But twice I tried upping my calories a little and I put on weight straight away. This time I put on nearly a…
  • About 6kgs or 12 lbs for every clothes size down. I went from around 78 to 60 kgs, and size 16 to 10 UK sizes.
  • Hi Siji, thanks for your interesting reply!! An extra 2000 calories per week sounds like an awful lot but it does make sense since 3600= 1 lb of fat. I am glad that I eat all those extra cals but I want to increase slowly. I have done ok on a low amount of food for a long time so the extra will be very welcome. I think I…
  • Well I have lost 17kgs and the belly is only just reducing now that I am at my target weight. I lost on the hips, waist ,butt and legs first. Then the face later, and finally the belly and boobs are the last to go. So keep going girl!!!
  • ****=butt
  • My collar bones are very prominent. I am not sure I like it though. I dont like it on other people. As for the rest of me...I still have some fat on my tummy, and a little bit of back fat. I have a slim *kitten* and legs, waist is 28 inches, face is slim being the last place for fat to disappear on me. Is this a pattern…
  • Hi Dan, good luck with that! I lived in China for 3 years. Keto will be hard there. Butter is hard to find and expensive, and cream is pretty impossible as well, as coconut oil. The Chinese eat a lot of carbs, rice and noodles. I found it best to just go with the flow, eat within your calorie range and you will be fine.…
  • My goal weight is 62kgs. So I think I will set a zone between 61 and 63kgs. I am now 62.9. I will weigh in after every 3 fasts. I will aim for 1400cals on non fast days. I am now a size 10, or 12 in some shops, which I am delighted about. I think if I go for a lower ideal weight it will be too hard to maintain. I dont…
  • Yes sure add me!! I would love new fasting friends...

  • Hi all. I was almost there, at 62.3kgs and 62 kgs was my goal. That was about 4 weeks ago. Then I had a very long journey and came home after months abroad. I continued to fast 2 days a week but I didnt watch cals too closely. Anyway after 2 weeks I weighed myself and I had gained over 2 kgs!! I was 64.5kgs. It shocked me…
  • Gosh cant believe I said I lost a stone, when I actually lost over 2 stone!! It must be the way I am feeling, negative!!! Or maybe my brain isnt working properly due to fasting. I know they say it results in mental clarity, but I seem to experience confusion and memory loss!!! Does anyone else???
  • Hi all lovely to meet you! I am 53 postmenopausal, and I have lost 1 stone in the past year. I have not got much more to loose, just a couple of kgs but I am finding this impossible. I am trying all sorts of things. This week I am doing 3 , 34 hour water fasts mon wed and fri. The other days I dont dont count cals but I do…
  • I am not a doctor but your symptoms indicate hypothyroidism. Its easily treated. Please do get it checked out. Good luck!!
  • OOOPs luck =LOOK !!
  • Congratulations!! And thanks for the advice, but my problem is I cant decide where maintenance is. When 68KGS I wanted to be 66kgs. When I was 66 kgs I wanted I to 65kgs, and so on.....I am now 64kgs and wanting to be 62kgs. My BMI is 24. I had a good luck in the mirror today....my arms are skinny , my waiste is small , my…
  • Hi add me please, especially if you are trying to loose the last few lbs, or if you are on the 5;2 or keto plans!! I am early 50s and post menopausal, but I like friends of all ages!!
  • For me, its now looking for size 12 clothes (UK size). I never knew they were so hard to find, because a 12 is 'normal ' it sells out quickly, leaving all the size 14s and 16s and 18s on the rail!!
  • I read that if you are working out, you do need a fair amount of carbs. Not so if you are sedentary or mildly active!!
  • LOVE IT, you look fab !! And I love these sort of pix generally, very motivating.
  • Yes I am doing the 4;3 now after 9 months on the 5;2. Actually today is my first attempt at doing 2 back to back fasts. I broke the rules at Xmas and put on a few lbs. so Im trying to repair the damage now. I am also a big believer in low carb, and the consumption of healthy fats. I was doing great before Xmas
  • I had to take a video for work a few days ago. My body was well covered up with a cardigan and loose scarf etc. I didnt look very thin or fat either, but I got a shock with my neck and chin!! I still have a big double chin, even though I am around the 24 BMI stage. That was very disappointing. It makes me look so old. It…
  • Yay!! You look fab, even your eyes look bigger and brighter!! Well done!!
  • Hey all, good luck!! I am now about 63 kgs down from 78 kgs nearly a year ago. I am 53 and post menopausal. I lost it through the 5;2 Intermittent fasting . Nothing else worked for me, even though I tried several different diets in the past few years. The 5;2 was my last attempt at weight loss.
  • Maybe you have damaged your metabolism by constant dieting and yo yoing over the years? Its happened to me many times. I have put on weight whilst eating practically nothing ,as my body stored every ounce consumed. If thats the case, you need to reset your metabolic rate which is not easy and takes a long time. Good luck!!
  • Hi all, I am new too. I have been on Intermittent fasting since Feb last, and I lost 2 stone. I eat within a 7 hour window. So I am nearly at maintenance now which I am finding hard. On non fast days I never eat grains and rarely eat processed stuff. I do eat coconut oil and so called healthy fats. What are the main…
  • The 5;2 worked for me, and coconut oil/healthy fats on non fast days combined with low carb!!
