Bump! I would love to learn some new exercises with a kettlebell. I have one but only know like 2 things to do with it :(

Have you tried the Dr Pepper 10? It only has 10 calories per can but it tastes like the regular! And eating more than 2/3 cup of cereal for breakfast is perfectly ok. Most experts recommend a bigger breakfast anyway, you just have to make adjustments throughout the rest of the day. Also, don't be afraid to eat at your BMR…

I highly recommend eating your exercise calories back. I had the same problem and was reluctant to eat more but when I finally did I start losing again!

I walk on my lunch hour too sometimes! Only when the weather is acceptable though - I hate being sweaty in my work clothes :). I go for morning and afternoon walks too sometimes!

I actually tried the eat moring method and it got me through a plateau. I was eating 1200 calories a day and that worked for a long time. Then it just stopped working and I couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong. I had nothing to lose so I switched to the Olivia Method and started eating 1600 calories a day and the…

I'm 5'7" ish and I totally rock heels! And yes, I do tower over a lot of boys but they don't seem to mind......

I'm 5'7" ish and I was shooting for 160 but now that I'm 185 I think I'm going to go more for 150. Ultimately I'm more concerned with body composition than weight though so any weight that isn't flabby is good with me :)

Hmmm.... I'll have to really pay attention today and make sure it's actually stopping after lunch. Thanks for the replies!

Courtroom Clerk. (Most commonly recognized as the person who swears you in before you testify). Love it!

Nope. MFP sets the protein limit pretty low (you can change it, I did) and it's hard to actually get too much protein. Different people will tell you different things but I shoot for 40% protein - which I NEVER make - which is about 160 grams on a 1600 calorie diet.

I'm a big believer in upping your calorie intake. I went from 1200 a day to about 1600 (my BMR) and I broke a long plateau and started dropping weight again like crazy! I use the Olivia Method on here now and it really helped. My diary is open too so feel free to take a look :)

I like new friends!

I'm definitely not an expert but I don't think it hinders your weight loss. Fruit is one of the best things you can eat and I've lost plenty of weight eating tons of fruit :). And most things I've read (here and elsewhere) say the same thing. I was concerned when I first joined MFP and my sugars were always WAY over the…

I have slip type one that I wear with tighter fitting dresses. Doesn't make me much slimmer but it smooths out my rolls and makes me feel better :). I just got a cheap on at Burlington Coat Factory and it works for me!

I love something sweet in the evenings! My night time snacks usually include sugar free & fat free Jello pudding cups (60 cals I think?), 100 calorie Skinny Cow Fudge Bars, fruit with fat free whip cream, yogurt - usually greek but sometimes regular, or a couple a mini york peppermint patties. Oh I also like to cut up…

I was in the same boat and not losing anymore. I upped my calorie intake and started losing again! I was a little skeptical at first but it worked for me!

Here's a link regarding stretches from the C25K people..... http://www.coolrunning.com/engine/2/2_1/from-the-hip.shtml

My friend has problems with her hip when running and her doctor gave her a few hip exercises to do before and after running. I'm sure you can find some online if you don't have time to go to the doctor right now. Her doctor also recommends ice and heat treatments. Also, she finds that running outside is easier on her hips…

I'd love to hear your recipe!

Agreed! I eat it almost every day!

I'm 5'7" and want to be around 160. I love my curves and definitely want to keep them!

I skipped the whole running for 20 mins straight thing. I almost died doing 8 mins! Now I'm up to 10 mins and I'm just going to modify it and do my own thing from here on out and gradually build up to 30 mins or so. For me the first day of the week is always the easiest - probably because my muscles aren't sore from a week…

I tried to make my own and it didn't taste nearly as good as the store bought kind so I'm definitely interested in advice anyone has.....

I've had the same problem for a few months so I've been reading forums like crazy and the general concensus seems to be that 1200 calories isn't enough. I've read quite a few people say there were eating 1200 and not losing and everyone told them to eat more sooooo that's what I'm going to try :)
-
Great job!! I want to try that 30 day shred but don't have the space! I'm hoping to give it a shot soon though. And might I add that that's one cute baby you've got there :)

I just started getting into compound moves myself. Actually yesterday was my first day in the "scary" free weight room. I didn't want to be THAT girl either so I asked one of my close male friends to go with me and show me the ropes so I didn't look so foolish and after he showed me what to do I felt a lot more confident.…

I have PCOS and I was on metformin for awhile but I didn't think it helped all that much. I find that for me what works best is getting my carbs from fruits, veggies, and whole grains. It helps keep the blood sugar spikes under control and keeps me satisfied longer. I also eat 3 meals a day and two snacks to keep things…
