I was having really bad hip and lower back pain last year. I got a personal trainer and she said that we needed to slowly strengthen those muscles, and after a few months, I no longer have any hip pain at all. It was totally worth it to spend the money for a professional to help me.

Is everyone on here at 1200 calories a day. I feel like that is too hard for me to stick with. Can short people lose weight at a higher calorie intake? I struggle with this as well. I wish I had some good advice, but every time I stop IP, I gain weight. I think it may be an on/off lifetime thing for me. It is the only diet I have ever had success with. I am starting again on Monday. Good luck to you on phase 4!
