#6, your eyebrows have a nice arch. Edit: He beat me to it! :(

I don't have a planned weekly cheat day. If there is a special occasion or family gathering, I will allow myself to eat over though.

I agree. I've always entered all my own information for every single thing I log based on either USDA or the labels because I don't trust other user-input info. It was tedious at first but I also mainly eat the same things so it cuts down on a lot of searching in the end.

Every day :)

This gets posted quite a bit here. You get calories added back when you exercise because your deficit is already built into the 1200 goal, which is also the absolute minimum you should be eating. If you were to eat 1200 calories and burn 300 through exercise, that would mean you were only netting 900 calories for the day.…

That's the best you've got? Please, take a look in a mirror. Using food for comfort is a huge reason a lot of people, including myself, are even on MFP. I'm familiar with using unfortunate events and even daily occurrences as excuses to overeat, which is how I initially got to 290 lbs. Part of growing up and being…

I haven't read any of her previous posts, nor do I care to. My focus was you twisting her statement and attacking her for something she didn't imply. But go ahead, continue being an asshat.

I never got the impression that she implied all of the above referenced situations were of equal importance. She just made a list of excuses people use to not eat well or exercise, not in any particular order. She also never implied that all were happening at once. I applaud you for putting words in her mouth though.…

That you don't have to cut all fat, all sugar, all soda, all carbs, or whatever else people demonize or blame for their weight. You can eat less of what you like and still lose weight. Weight loss isn't about eating all salads and no cheeseburgers, it's about eating a 1/4 lb cheeseburger with a small fry instead of a 1 lb…

Food scales are magic ;)

Spices are really the only thing. Have to log ketchup because it is 20 cals per tbsp.

Thanks all! I was wondering the same thing.. 81 lbs lost, not 36!

Weigh anything and everything you can. Cups are terribly inaccurate for solids. A cup for some people is a scoop without leveling the top, a scoop with it slightly under, etc where a gram is always a gram.

I'm doing it for both :) I can't wait to go shopping.

Face.

I only log losses as well, just passed the 90 day mark myself. Here is my chart:
-
I don't add salt, but I have to add oil and butter when used. They're too high in calories to leave out.
-
I weigh every day. I like to see trends.
-
I don't log any cleaning. I log only what I intend to be a workout. You can't track cleaning calories well enough anyway.. I'd rather eat to my goal and have those calories be a bonus knowing you were under for sure instead of trying to estimate and potentially estimating too high, putting me over goal.
-
I'd go off the packaging, but that's just me.
-
^agree. You'd just fall under a lightly active description instead of sedentary and it will do the calculations for you.

I'm 22, feel free to add me.

Feel free to add me as well. I log every day.

My breakfasts and lunches have always been the same, a combination of bananas, yogurts, and granola bars. I started mixing things like peanut butter, strawberries, cottage cheese, and string cheese in there as well after I started tracking. The main difference for me was snacks and dinner portions. My mentality used to be…

Strawberries for sure.
