On top of my introductory post, my husband is a homebrewer on a somewhat-larger scale with two of our friends. What this means: • We have a homemade keezer that holds four pony kegs of his homebrew. On tap most all of the time is an amber, IPA, stout, and a seasonal beer. • Husband and I enjoy realllly good beer so we also…

I love popcorn and have it most nights except it's Orville Redenbacher 100 cal bags.

iPod Nano. Clips onto my sports bra. Tiny, weighs nothing. Ability to listen to music by ALL, by playlist, and I think even by artist or album (but could be wrong). Has radio tuner. Has photo albums as well - I use this feature to take a screenshot of my routines so if I start a new one, I can reference it on my iPod Nano.

Me from about a month ago, prior to vacation and more relaxed eating afterwards-present. Keeping it as my profile pic as motivation to get back there.

I'm not sure what your gym is like, but see if you can pay a trainer for one or two sessions or get one of the gym workers (preferably someone with the words "fitness" "helper" in their job title to a) get you in the weight room with those big scary guys and b) show you proper form. OR ask one of those big scary guys for…

*raising hand* On top o what everyone else said it is also very very hard to get bulky withou eating at a calorie surplus anyway. Which I'm guessing you wouldn't do because you are looking at the number on the scale. Lifting weights WORKS and is totally a body recomposition transformation. I used to be 117.... I am now…

Echoing Stronglifts, Body Recomp, and Bodybuilding.com. Focus on compound exercises instead of isolation of course.

Just went to an all-inclusive a few weeks ago. While I didn't eat 'till I busted at the seams, I still tried to eat healthy (lean meats, veggies, eggs, easy on the desserts) but I definitely went over on my cals every day in food. That didn't of course include all the sugary alcoholic drinks all day, every day. My take is…

^^ Great points. Yes, unfortunately a lot of the bullies don't have a great home life and they are a product of their environment (for the time being...). Ditto-ing that bullying IS taken so much more seriously now than it was 10 years ago. Please bring this to the attention of the school and authorities.
-
I won't even bother reading what everyone replied with but i certainly hope that the majority has said to take it up with the school. I am the oldest and my middle sister dealt with a LOT of bullying from both boys and girls growing up. Even on the bus. The SCHOOL bus is SCHOOL property, you NEED to bring it to the…

5'8.5" --- between 126 (lower) and 130 (higher). Depends if I've been eating like sht or not. And yes, that .5" is important ;)

Because your subject line got cut off, I don't know what you don't want to hear... :) My answer is WINE. While it may baffle most with my goals of being fit and healthy (and being a lean person), I DO put down one bottle of wine every night. Typically red. It's what I like, helps me relax, and works for me. When I gain…

YOU LOOK AMAZING!!! Great job!!

As I type this, I'm eating an english muffin topped with BP peanut butter with banana slices covering each half. YUM!
-
Just experiment and see what works for you and your body. You have to make sure you have enough energy. I've always had an english muffin with BP peanut butter on my way to the gym, and then have about 200-300 more calories after the session (mostly protein like egg whites and veggies). However these past couple of weeks…

Monday, Thursdays: Legs, Biceps, Back. Run intervals for anywhere from 10-20 minutes (usually on the lower end, or not at all, as my legs are blasted from the squats/bb lunges/leg presses). These are by far my favorite days :D Tuesdays, Fridays: Chest, Triceps, Abs. Run intervals 10-30 minutes. Wednesdays: about half the…

I cannot speak from experience as I do not have children but abs are mostly all nutrition. Eat enough, eat the right stuff. I've been always lean to start with but honestly I only do a few ab exercises during the week. I strength train 80% of the time I am at the gym and do 20% cardio (running). That's just a personal…

Check out Starting Strength and 5x5 as well... honestly your best bet overall are compound exercises. There are tons of info on Bodybuilding.com and videos on YouTube on routines, form and more.

Ask them to show you weights! I used to go to the 24 in Lowry, and that I where I learned and got comfortable in the weight room. At the time, I liked the machines better but my trainer definitely asked what my preference was. If the trainer says they don't teach free weights... Request a new trainer! Have fun and…

BP2 for the win. Hands down.

I forgot my bra today too!! I was like, "really...???" Thankfully I brought a really tight cami that I could've gotten away with all day (I'm a size A...) but I knew I had a long meeting in the afternoon so I ran to Target by my work to pick one up. @JeepersMister - forgetting the inhaler would be awful :(

Was talking to my husband about this recently as he was contemplating that there was no "goal" since we just went on vacation for him to continue to work out. He needs an end goal whereas I do not. Every person is different, you just need to look inside yourself and figure out what you really want, and determine what is…

All I buy now is the plain Greek yogurt (Fage 0%) and add in my own flavor. The ones with fruit already packaged is way too sweet for me. I often mix the yogurt with: • Sugar-free jello mix (butterscotch, cheesecake, strawberry, lime, etc). They will vary from 5 -25 cals and really nothing else in it except some sodium.…

Had the day off and went clothes shopping. You know when you have good shopping days and bad ones? Today was goooooood :D

I lift 4x week, alternating legs/biceps/shoulders and chest/tri/abs. After lifting I run or do intervals for anywhere for 10-30 minutes. Wednesdays are either rest days or endurance cardio. I stopped cardio the past month and have definitely noticed a difference in my body (not what I want). So, apparently that schedule…

Sooo happy that you posted this, all your hard work shows!

• spread it on whole-grain english muffins • add it to chocolate protein powder to make shakes • mix 1 serving with hershey's lite chocolate syrup (1 serving), spread it on banana slices and freeze. consume after at least an hour. • use it as a dip for celery and apples • mix it with Fage 0% yogurt (adding extra protein…

Lift weights and lift heavvvvy. Of course you know that you can't spot reduce (arms) though, right?

EXACTLY what I do!
