I have to do the modified version too. I've did this level a couple of times and I just can't do the jumps. It kills my knees. I have one bad knee anyway but they both hurt if I do the jumps. Nothing wrong with doing the low impact moves!

Finished day one. I debated on waiting one more day and just decided to get it done. I only had issues with the squats and that was due to starting the C25K on Sunday and I didn't realize I was sore until my first squat. It will get better in about a week I know!

I didn't want to spend alot of money on mine so I opted for the MIO Drive. I got mine at Academy for $45. It was very comparable to the Polar and kept on track great and it's super easy to set up and use. I loved it so much got my husband one too.

Get you a heart rate monitor to know for sure. I am 5'6 185 lbs and burn anywhere from 500-650 if I'm moving alot. Depends on the type of Zumba and what you've done before. I too have the Zumba DVD's from Zumba.com not exhilerate but ones before and I love, love love them. I have taken live classes but I still really like my DVD's better. Especially the sculpt and tone and ab one!

We hooked the resistance bands to the pull up bar and used them instead of the bar itself. I can't do an actual pull up so I had to use resistance bands. You should try that if you don't have a place for the pull up bar.
