Okay so not really a 'dessert' but for 240 calories take: 1/2 cup Ben and Jerry's choc fudge brownie froyo and add 6 tiny twist pretzels. Seriously so freakin delicious and totally budge table. Orrrr just have the froyo for 180. Fine.

I'm a speech therapist in two different schools... I pack my lunch 99% of the time. I plan for it and make sure it's protein packed! I like to bring 4 or 5 snack like things as sometimes I'm just writing reports all day and it can get boring. Sometimes I'll run out and get a tea and grab a string cheese or a piece of fruit…

Shrimp! Season/marinate it throw it on a baking sheet and put it in the oven. This eliminates the need for oil in a pan, but still makes it delicious! Or grill it if you have that option. I've been doing a tblspoon of BBQ sauce, paprika, garlic powder. Add it too a spinach salad or with a low carb wrap!

I didn't read everyone else's posts so forgive me if this is repetitive...I had a similar experience with my mother growing up. As a naturally thin person, she did not understand how difficult it was for me to lose weight. I also felt our conversations hindered instead of helped. Only when I was an older teenager did I…

From start to finish- about 27 minutes but I log it as 20 minutes circuit training.

I'm finally on day 2 of level 3...level 3 is RIDICULOUS.jumping squats? You crazy, Jillian. But I'm trying! I'm going to do level three for a while..and I've been liking adding in level 1 afterwards. Seems like a piece of cake now :) anyone else on level three yet?

This thread epitomizes how I've been feeling lately! I'm trying to be patient.

Definitely in my endurance...and I didn't take measurements :( but since I started eating at a deficit and working out about 6 weeks ago I've lost 12 lbs. I have 30 or so to go so I feel good but not great! My arms are definitely more sculpted as are my thighs. I'll definitely let you know when I reach day 30! I have a…

I'm on day 17 of the shred and I thought level 2 was way harder than 1. I think those v-raises chair sit things are super ridiculous! I do ten and then switch to bicep curls. I love the way I feel afterwards, though. I switched to level two after only 6 days at level one so I tried to double up a few days. I'm nervous to…

I'm surprised people have not commented! I'm sure people have noticed though! You must feel great! Maybe wear something to show it off? I would :)

Hey I have about 25-30 lbs to lose and I'm always looking for new friends on here :) I'm trying to be a more active person overall while also learning about nutrition

Drink: coffee Condiment: ketchup! And balsamic vinegarettes of any variety. Health food: avocado! And bananas Junk: brownies/cake...although it's been a minute.

This is great!

Get a big stick and bang it on the ceiling every time you hear them.

Honestlyyyyy it's not going to happen. Do your research and you'll see that losing a pound a day is pretty much impossible. You can definitely commit yourself to working out everyday and eating at a deficit. Try Jillian michaels 30 day shred! I'm halfway through and already seeing results. You're probably going to get a…

Thanks all!

Thanks! So, keep going?

Try YouTube for some workouts you can do at home! There's a ton. I've been doing Jillian michaels for a bit now. Good luck with the journey :)

Great advice...sometimes, though, I enjoy snacking and zoning to some mindless tv. Put the portion in a bowl and close up the box and put it on a high shelf. Log it and complete your diary. If I do this, it helps me not go back for more.

Hey! So I started the 30 ds amount 2 weeks ago...here's my progress so far! From left to right: day 1; day 7; day 13. Excited for day 30!
-
I love the 30ds so far! I'm on day 12, level 2. Some of the moves are super hard for me (I haven't exercised in a year previously) but I'm noticing minor results already! I ordered ri30 and can't wait to see my results after 60 days with Jillian :)

I love eating a huge salad with lots of different things in it. For dinners I like to do a lean meat, veggies and a small portion of some kind of carb. I generally have three or four low calorie snacks a day to keep me going from meal to meal and to not be absolutely starving by the time it's dinner.

Just stumbled on this thread and calculated my BMR at 1525 and my TDEE at 2100...I have been sticking to a 1200-1300 calorie diet with excercising 3-4 times a week. Am I sabotaging my weightless by eating too little? I do have a cheat day where I do not log at all. Very new to this!

So to summarize: -weigh my food! -fruit is better than cookies -watch carbs more seriously than fruit
-
Thanks, everyone. I publicized my diary...just started on the site! I appreciate the feedback. I am currently not weighing my food but I'm considering it now!

I just haven't really lost much weight and I can see the pattern of being over my sugar allotment. Felt like that would be an area to work on.
