Though I don't agree with their "Judgement Free" (ironic?) ads, I have been a member there for a few years now. Some locations are better than others. I recently moved and the one I attend is one of the better ones I have been to. It's a good fit for people beginning their journey to weight loss. Treadmills, ellipticals,…

I wear my fitbit one on the inside of my pants/shorts pocket. I have tried a few different configurations as far as syncing the Forerunner and the Fitbit to Myfitnesspal. So far I don't see any "doubling" so it must sync and figure things out on it's own.

I had migranes for years and was never able to see a doctor because I didn't have health insurance. As soon as I got hired on at my new job, I started seeing a doctor on a regular basis. He decided to have me tested for Sleep Apnea. Ever since I was diagnosed and began CPAP therapy, the migranes have disappeared. If I…

I have the One now, used to have the Ultra. Depends mostly on personal preference. I prefer to have mine clipped to my pocket rather than having to wear it on my wrist.

I take pictures nearly daily.I upload them to my computer once a month and go over them. I have just over a year's worth.

I pretty much eat the same thing for breakfast and lunch during the work week. I find that if I log it all first thing in the morning I am more likely to log my dinner and snacks at night too.

Absolutely get one. I bought a Fitbit Ultra two or three years ago and wear it daily. My fiancee just bought me a Fitbit One to upgrade.

Remember it's a lifestyle change, not a "diet". Drink lots of cold water!

Getting married probably around October 2016. Was losing weight before I proposed, certainly motivated now though to get fit.

"It took time to put all the weight on, it will take time to take it all off". I have seen this on here once or twice. I constantly have to remember that I didn't put the weight on overnight, I can't expect to lose it overnight either.

Congrats! Last night I tried on a coat that I bought a year ago when I was about 50 pounds heavier. It was too small and didn't fit right when I bought it, but it fit great last night!

I check my weight daily because I like to know where I stand and what I need to do constantly to make adjustments. It's hard sometimes to not get discouraged, but as long as you know you are doing the right things and making the right decisions, you're good.

First song that popped in my head when I read the title of this post. "the more you ignore me, the closer I get, you're wasting your tiiiiiime"

Thank you everyone for your great ideas. I have been going with the breakfast muffin idea for the past two weeks or so. It works great! I have been using Thomas' Honey Wheat muffins, egg whites, a slice of ham and a slice of american cheese. The total calories is 292 on the dot. I might try some turkey or something with a…

Try getting in touch with Fitbit's customer support. I've heard of cases where people have lost their Fitbit's and the company replaced them free of charge. I don't know if what the circumstances would be but it is worth a shot at least.

The fitbits are nothing more than glorified pedometers. I wear mine all the time but find sometimes I have to take the results with a grain of salt. It will log me as doing imaginary sets of stairs through the day sometimes, and does not accurately log non full step workouts (ie. elliptical). Don't get me wrong, they are…

Older gentleman, probably in his 60's, works out in a white tank top, white training bra, and hot pink yoga pants. I've seen him a few times. It's always interesting to watch people on the ellipticals.

Small notebook and pen. This way I can keep track of what and how much I am doing, I can also decide better when I need to boost my weights.

Remember this feeling the next time you feel tempted to eat a whole pint. Granted, it's not a terrible thing, but think of how you feel.. I used to eat a bowl of ice cream everynight before bed. Now when I do have ice cream, I scoop it with a teaspoon and put it in an average coffee mug. Don't pack it in. Stick with it.…

Grab a clothing measuring tape next time you are at the store. Start measuring yourself instead of weighing. Neck, Chest, waist, hips, thighs, calves, bicep, forearm. You will likely start seeing these numbers improve before you start seeing the scale move. Once you see the numbers on your measurements you will ultimately…

I'm currently putting off clothes shopping as much as I can because I know everything I buy now, will be too big on me. I got a $25 gift card to JC Penney from my boss for Christmas and I am currently saving til I decide to go buy clothes that fit.

I used to be hardcore addicted to soda. I got to points where it was all I would drink most of the time. I could and would easily drink 2 to 3 20oz bottles of mountain dew a day. Now when I get a 20oz bottle, I drink a serving at a time and put it in the fridge. I fill up my water bottle and keep it with me the rest of the…
