in regard to the op question i say, if you are doing something that is working for you don't get stuck on the numbers and keep doing it, change it when it stops working. The thing is trying out stuff and see what it woks for you, everybody wants an universal answer but there is none.

sorry but i'm still of my opinion as i change my macros i manage to lose weight. and there ARE differences between macros : using your logic i could live healtly eating only refined sugar as carbs, butter as fats and whey protein as protein, yeah i'm hitting my macros. . . i don't think so
