Hi Stephanie, I started C25K when I was in mid 260's and have managed to complete the program! so dont worry about the weight I too had some knee issues while starting out, but after getting my shoes at a running shoe store with gait analysis completed, my knee is much happier now a few things that worked for me a) go slow…

Awesome news Taylor and I too have some good news to share - i had been training on the treadmill over the last few weeks - completed my first 5K run last week So wanted to see today, if i can run in the real world happy to report i completed about 6KM (including warm up, cool down - about total of 5 minutes) in 50 minutes
-
Indian but not in India right now Feel free to add me if you would like
-
Thanks @Taylor
-
Day 2 completed i put the towel on the treadmill and pushed a little harder completed 3.2miles in 38 minutes!! yeah!!
-
Hi, I too completed my Day 1 of week 7 I was aiming for 2.5 mile run, and managed it in 30mins am feeling pumped , to know that i actually ran for 30 mins @5mph
-
i tried 2 sets of squats today first time did not add any weight, second round added 15 pounds each - so a total of 30 pounds feel ok
-
Thanks Taylor i too factored in that my other workouts would come in handy so so today skipped 2 days of week 6 and completed day 3 today the recommendation was to run for 22 mins but it also said run for 2.25 miles, so i wanted to do that at 1% incline warmup - 5 mins - 3.5mph - .30 miles jog - 28 mins - 5mph - 2.25 miles…
-
fitting in C25K on weekends is getting tough with racketball, hopefully back tomorrow
-
AMAZING!! you are an insipiration
-
Go you trailblazer - i start week 6 tomorrow so will report back
-
would squatting put additional pressure on knees ? i am keen to do it but worry about my left knee :(
-
i was on medication earlier for a year, but with my current weight loss, better diet and fitness, i last took the meds some 4 months ago so loosing a little weight too works wonders, be on the journey and it will soon be a non issue all the best!

The laggard reporting in completed week 5 awesome to see that i can run for 20 mins walk 3.5 mph jog 20 mins - 5mph incline 1 :)
