Special K makes a chocolate cereal now...you can have that with some Silk (milk) and its good. They also say to eat a small piece of dark chocolate. Dark chocolate is actually good for you and it will curve your cravings. I remember reading something about eating dark chocolate with a high cocoa percentage being a good way…

I recently went to one of the Tanger Outlet Malls. Lane Bryant had a lot of cute business attire at discount prices. Im from Georgia...so i'm not sure if you have Tanger in your area but I've seen them all over while traveling.

Thank you ALL for your responses! I love MFP and the motivation that I get from the great people on here. Every achievement is a great one, no matter the size. This is going to be a long journey and I am so happy to know that there are people all over the world to help me along the way. :)

I've been in the gym for almost a month now. I've increased my weight since I first started. I usually do 3 sets of 20 on all machines: leg presses at 190 lbs, butterfly machine 45 lbs, ab machine 110 lbs, triceps 45lbs, and I dont know what to call the other machines lol. I am morbidly obese. Im eating around 1200-1300…

Thanks guys...maybe I should do a little more research with the help of a nutritionist.

I didn't read what everyone else has replied, so i'm sure I will repeat what someone else has already said but from my experience there are some really sweet, helpful, motivating, knowledgeable people on here so it's ok. What I try to remember is that I didn't get as large as I am overnight. It took a while to get where…

Thank you ALL for the advice. I really do appreciate it and it helps to know that so many people actually care enough to stop and respond. I know that this will be a long journey, but i'm willing to do what it takes. I will be upping my calorie intake and am going to start monitoring my sodium intake...that was a great…

I too have a lot of weight to lose. Im on daily. Add me...maybe we can help support each other. I need it today!

Thank all of you for responding. I know that it took a while for me to gain all of this weight, so I need to realize that it's not going to come off over night...although that would be awesome. I havent weighed since after the first week. Im weighing tomorrow. Maybe I have lost weight and I just feel like I haven't because…

I also had a banana for breakfast...and I didn't even want it. I have to train myself to eat right and I know breakfast is like the "make it or break it meal" because it starts up your metabolism for the day. Basically, I choked down the banana just because I knew I had to eat something. Hopefully my body will get used to…

ok...so....my BMR is 2554.8. If I eat 1600 calories a day that is a 954.8 deficit and I would lose 1.91 lbs a week without exercise...and more with exercise. That sounds like a plan! :)

My daily calorie goal according to MFP is 2140. Again, that just seems like a lot of calories, but I haven't really started an exercise plan as of yet. My goal is to start off by working out at least 3 days a week for at least 30 mins.
