You should freeze light yoplait yogurt so yummy and only 100 calories! Or frozen berries!!0

I just found this stuff called Arctic Zero... They sell it at Fairway, Kings and a couple other places (You can check on their website). But the ENTIRE pint of "ice cream" is only 150 calories! And they have like 5 or 6 flavors. Vanilla maple is my favorite. With a little bit of whipped cream and cinnamon yummmm.0

by the slow churned ice cream. Tastes good with a lot less calories0
-
Try one that has no sugar added and lower caloires Bluebell makes a great vanilla0

I have been placing "go-gurt" in the freezer. 100 cals of frozen yogurt. It seems to be doing the trick for me....but i do miss BEN and JERRY'S Ice cream.0

Half freeze some greek yoghurt and mix, it's not ice cream but it can definitely help some cravings. Or you could freeze and chopped banana, mash it up and it's awesome!0
-
some brands make light ice cream. I've tried Dreyer's (Edy's) Slow Churned and it is delicious! most flavors have about 130 cals and 4 grams of fat per 1/2 cup. not too bad for a treat!0
-
could you budget for it? I find it easier to stay on plan knowing there is a scoop of real ice cream at the end of the day.0
-
Would fudge bars do the trick for you? I get 100 calorie low fat fudge bars that zap my ice cream cravings in a jiff0
-
coconut milk ice cream too!0

Was going to suggest this! Also, they have those mousse/yogurt things if you are more in the mood for chocolate... delicious frozen!0 -
Freeze ripe bananas, blitz with a bit of milk and cocoa. And there you go! Chocolate and banana icecream, soo yum and sweet. I add berries instead of chocolate sometimes too.0

Sorbet is my new best friend - it is about 70 cal for a reasonably-sized serving.0

This too!!! SOOOO yummy0 -
i eat frozen yogurt.
just like ice cream.
but healthier ...
you can get it in a bunch of different flavors.0 -
Frozen yogurt or sherbert can be a lower-calorie alternative. I love frozen greek yogurt! And use homemade fruit jam as a topping (but don'[t add sugar - just puree some fruits!) Also - there are vegan ice-creams that are dairy free and lower in calories and fat that traditional ice cream.0

Look up the Yonana machine. It's pretty amazing. All you use is a frozen banana and any other frozen fruit, put it through the machine and then mix it together. The result looks and tastes like ice cream. Amazon has the machine for about 50 bucks. Well worth the money in my opinion.0

I hate ice cream, so I'd recommend popping bananas in a VITAMIX.
Or buy Diana's Banana Babies ~ Chocolate covered banana halves. 130 calories each.0 -
Chapman's frozen yogurt is great! They have so many different selections and the taste is not comprimised!0

Skinny Cow makes amazing ice cream sandwiched and mini ice cream cups....around 160 calories with a fair bit of fiber in the sandwiches.....check those out....I used to eat those when I needed a sweet ice cream treat.....they taste great and are much better than ice cream. And the sandwiches are HUGE!0

There are some delicious frozen yogurt options, and are 100 calories or less. Or frozen fruit bars. Blue Bell makes an all natural strawberry bar that is 70 calories.0
-
I also buy fudge bars...low in calories and just enough to satisy my craving.0

Try Breyers slow churned ice cream. It has less fat and calories. I had a comfort food of pop tarts. I had to have them. With the help of my physical therapist, I kicked the habit and now only have them once in a while. You can overcome this. You are strong and I will just say Never Give Up.0

TCBY frozen yogurt is scrumptious! I eat it and skinny cow icecream everyday.and Yes ICECREAM is my weakness too. I just work it in to my calories in small portions~ Lost 42 llbs . so doing something right? YEA!0

I'm an ice cream lover too! I get the light ice cream or a fat free vanilla at the grocery store. Schwann's frozen foods also sells fat free and light varieties. If they are in your area they are a company that delivers to your door. I also go to the dairy queen's in the summer and find that most of them carry a fat free now. One kind is called Dole Whip. If you like the sandwiches..skinny cow's are yummy. Have also heard of people freezing ripe mashed bananas or making frozen bananas. Whatever you choose..enjoy : )~0

If it is your weakness, there is no getting around it. You're going to eat it from time to time (if not often). Try to budget for that in your allowed calories and over time, see if you can reduce the amount you eat. Also, as many people have suggested, frozen yogurt is a great alternative. I love Golden Spoon! It doesn't have that "yogurt" after-taste and the chocolate malt flavor is a very strong competitor to soft serve chocolate ice cream.
Good luck! I myself am trying to lay off the soda...it's a daily struggle that I fear will always pull at me. :drinker:0 -
Icecream is my weakness too! I could probably eat a half gallon in one sitting! LOL!
Blue Bunny makes a great line of sugar free low calorie ice cream popsicles My fav is the dark chocolate raspberry! Sooo yummy and only 110 calories! Weight waters has a greally great latte flavored icecream that is only 100 per popsicle too!0 -
Oh it's mine too. I keep Weight watchers in the freezer for days when I want some but I do eat it sparingly and as a treat.0
-
i make "smoothies". skim milk, banana, some unsweetened cocoa and ice...it helps me! and is filling0
-
i discovered ben & jerry's frozen greek yogurt in my market today. a blessing from god? perhaps.0
