My gal is doing Cize and really likes it. She's done lots of dance workouts and this one is definitely making her think and work. We've done most of T25. She hates it, I love it. We both did Hip Hop Abs. I did it in trade for her doing T25. Tried Cize and hate it. If you like to dance you'll enjoy it.

It works. It might be a bit much at first so go easy. It's more than just caffeine. It has beta alanine and other things to help with endurance and fatigue etc.. The beta alanine will most likely make your skin feel tingly. Don't freak out. I like BSN NoExplode better. Vitamin-(fill in the blank) places all carry it. Heck…

I went from C4 to No-Explode (BSN). Pretty happy with it. No sick feeling at all. IF it's the caffeine then you can find some that are caffeine free. I used one by Dymatize that was pretty good.

TBC is toughest in the Alpha phase. Heavy focus on upper body and core. TBC is considered circuit progression. It repeats and gets more intense. Some of what is in Insanity is like this. In case you were thinking of trying Insanity. You'll find that some parts of Beta and Gamma are easier. Others are harder. Really depends…

We both use FT7 (me and gal). Works just fine. I've broken 1 over the years. The transmitter got weak and the watch kept complaining about it, after your heart shows up as 0... They're good, Seeing your range, average, and peak heart rate is good. The estimated calorie burn is what we plug into MFP. Replacing the battery…

I've been doing it mixed with Beast. 6 days/week with this is too much. He gets a bit annoying after a while since he never shuts up... ;-) I've done Alpha until I've had enough. Now doing Beta and Gamma mixed. It's a good program. Watch your back and your knees. It's easy to overload them if you're not used to this type…

I've done all of Tony's stuff. P90, Master Series, P90X, X+, X2, X3. Don't bother with X2. It has too many crazy balance moves that just ask to cause injury. If I had to pick only 1 of his routines I would pick P90X every time. It is more basic and geared towards strength and conditioning. You lose weight more likely from…

Tony Horton. P90-X3.. His Gen 3 workout is now 30 minutes give or take. DVDs. You'll need bands or dumb bells, chin up bar (or bands).

How about doing some MMX or Boxing moves with your upper body. Combo punches, upper cuts, cross punches, straight punches, elbow and arm blocks and strikes. Pretty much anything without the kicks or lunges. You can control the pace of the combos against an HRM to stay where you want to be. I;ve never done this but it seems…

I'm with poobah. The above is the first thing to address. Until he agrees with you the rest is not going to happen.

I've never had a gym membership. I spent the money on training programs, like the whole P90X# programs, Body Beast, and so on. Bought bands, pull up bar, push up stands, dumb bells, ez bar, bench, balance ball, etc... I do it all at home or outdoors biking and such. Other than needing special equipment to handle some…

I vote that the FT7 is right and MFP isn't... I have one and so does my GF. Because assumed numbers from sites like MFP are just that, assumed... Go with the numbers it gave you. I don't run but I bike and do cross training amongst other things. Biking with lots of hills. I can knock out 800 cals in an hour no problem.…

This is the problem I have now trying to do a bulk. I've had to mess with what my daily calorie intake should be. Doing simple TDEE math or the MFP solution doesn't work. My calorie use changing daily by a fair bit. Even though I have a sedentary job. I rarely sit still at work or at home. I track my food on MFP. Done…

Nope, but BJ, yes. ;-)

This! +99... As the others said. It is very well organized, detailed examples of the each exercise. Well written and broken down. Guys can use this book too! It ain't just gals and round buns. Worth the $20 easily.…

In your case, forget the abs, you're popping out just fine. As for the abs. I can take it or leave it. I like a gal that has some amount of body fat. I'm pretty open as many women of all shapes and sizes look good to me.

Took Chantix. It's brutal, it works. 30 year smoker. Quit in 2008. End of story. Took Chantix for a month in 2008. Stopped for about a year, Had a relapse. Took Chantix for a couple of weeks and stopped. Haven't touched on since 2009. Have no interest or desire. Don't miss it. Can walk in a room of people smoking and not…

Who cares if it is 1, 2, 3, 4, or all of them. As long as you get too...

Excellent work their lady! I showed my GF your post and she agreed we are moving her to more weights and less cardio. We have been doing a lot of cardio/strength work with P90X3 and she does Zumba. It helps her overall energy but the stubborn fat is not moving. We're starting Beast together. I did the first part already.…

You just made my day and that is awesome work lady !!!

Doing Yoga or Pilates, is NOT for girls. That is an old school mentality that is seriously flawed. I used Pilates to recover from back surgery. I use Yoga about once a week to stretch my body. Both have value regardless of sex. Try both with an open mind. And with the Yoga, you don't have to use it as religion, I skip that…

I used and FT1 and moved to an FT7. It does good for cardio and I use it for strength training anyway. It is a point of reference, not the ultimate solution, but much better than MFP guessing what I personally do. All the MFP numbers are approximations of some or many people. I'll stick with the HRM method and at least I'm…

Cleanest and my favorite brand is Dymatize. Their IS0-100 is about the cleanest I've seen. Their Fusion 7 is also pretty clean and comes in some cool flavors I really like. Optimum Nutrition Platinum Hydro Whey ( a bit cleaner than their Gold Standard, but either is good). You can't really go wrong with either company. Get…

First, watch the videos without actually working out. Understand what he is doing and when. That way when you do it for the first time it is not so much of a surprise. Second, it's supposed to be hard. Yes you'll get tired a lot, and hit pause and catch your breath, it's ok. Just keep pressing play ;-) Third, it's tough on…

On the potassium... Yeah I hope we're getting more than we think. If you follow MFP I know mine is under every day, significantly under. I've started added potassium pill in my regiment. I'm not big on bananas but they sure help knock that number up. Now if only I could get Sodium to behave ;-)

If you saw a physio, got told to do some PT or what have you, then a year later no improvement. Then you're not better. Leave the weights alone, period. Get in to see your doc. A simple x-ray can show a completely collapsed disc. Barring that I'd be pushing to get an MRI done. Then take it from there. That is good…

The biking is mainly cardio with some strength depending on the course. Flat ground not so bad. Lots of hills, good leg workout. Doing pushups is upper body using your own weight much like planks. And core work too. There is weight involved since it is your body you're trying to move. The two should compliment each other…

When laying on your back. Legs and Arms go straight up. Then you just hold them. It sounds easy. After a while you tremble and shake. I would venture to say as part of your PT they did that to help get you to do basic core strength and stretch. The trembling is natural if your core is very weak. If you're recovering from…
