Good answer. It's not just a problem for gals either. For me to bulk, my eating clean definition changed. Like you I'll eat ice cream and/or cookies if I don't think I'm going to hit my numbers. I focus on hitting protein, eat some fruits and veggies, then hit calories/day. I do watch not to get completely out of hand on…

Actually if you're doing one of the popular HIT programs then after a cycle is done. You should take 1-2 weeks off. Yeah, weeks, not days. I learned this after my 3rd cycle of one of the popular ones. It made a lot of difference in my recovery and attitude to do more. You're body will thank you, not immediately make you…

On Body Beast. I've done the Build phase before and it wasn't bad but caused me some problems with knees, hips, and shoulders. Not just muscle pain, overload pain. I'm trying it again and doing Bulk phase. What I'm finding is that I like his program as an all around body enhancer. I don't think anyone is getting "beastly"…

This! Just got a copy for my GF and we're working on her plan.

Given the content and context of this thread would this not be more appropriate use of Queen lyrics: Fat bottom girls we make the rockn' world go 'round. Get on our big a$$es and ride! /end gratuitous Queen hack Just a thought... ;-)

I watch it on and off. Watched a couple of them last night before bed. I'm not a big fan of ink on people but I respect people's choice to do it. Some look absolutely amazing and others like trash. I agree with the person who said, do your homework, research what, why, and whom will do it. It's for life. Last night I saw…

I'm doing Beast now. Had done the first month before, Build. Then skipped over and did P90X2. This time I'm going right to Beast - Bulk. Did Back yesterday to get started. I'm hacking up P90X3 and Beast together to make a hybrid program.

last text sent... well someone was rather loud last night... last text received: what you do with your tongue baby, it's just amazing...

Slice them into reasonably thick discs. Nuke me for 5 mins. Throw on the grill with a touch of Tangerine Oil (Extra Virgin of course). Brown each side. Then add with your favorite meal. Yummy.

Cause i'd like to check you for ticks...

Absolutely !!! 2-3 cups/day for me. Every day, forever. Water when I'm not drinking coffee.

HOT ! Need I say more ;-)

Way to go man! I hear you. P90X - Legs and Back is my favorite workout. And i've done X1, X2, X3. I always go back to that one routine. Tony is a pull up maniac :-) The chair thing messed me up. I got a pull up assist band and have used that. It let's you get incrementally better.

Good luck with that. Sodium is my worst number to keep consistent. MFP says 2300. I bounce from 2000-3500. I have found that cutting down on fast food, a bunch of microwave ready, and son on helps. Completely removing "processed" foods is not going to happen. So it's a balance for me. Since tracking it I at least have seen…

Creme Brulee.

LOL. I believe I used the same or similar app that was popular when i quit. I might even have it buried away on my laptop somewhere. Would be amusing to recalculate at todays cost of cigs. ;-)

Quit about 5 years ago. I tried several times before. I used Chantix (US), Champix (EU/AUS). It worked great to get me to stop. THe side effects were a bit brutal. Then again dropping that habit is brutal period. These E-cigs help, but only if you use them as a "dosing down" idea. Converting from cigs to e-cigs still…

Where did you see this? I just bought a pair of FT7s for myself and GF. We are using them now for X3 training, mainly the cardio based stuff. I used it for the strength training and used more calories than cardio. I just figured strength training is harder on me and works my heart more. The HR info shows I do work harder…

Just the opposite. My GF is way shorter than me. She loves the big heels. She wears them a fair bit, especially when we go out, like dancing. Makes our height just about right, ya know.... ;-) If it was opposite I wouldn't care. Would put me right in line with the girls. I see no lose in this deal. She's got great legs and…

Size matter? I've been told yes. The ring and the thing.

Get something like a Polar FT4 or FT7 and measure for yourself. It will be different than any estimations. We tried estimating P90X3 numbers and were very wrong... We also found my GF and I have very different effects from cardio and weights.

Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard and Dymatize ISO-100 for my GF. Dymatize Elite Fusion 7 and GNC AMP Wheybolic for me. Get the ON and Dymatize from body building . com. Their prices are better. Dymatize ISO-100 is the most expensive but also the cleanest protein supplement I've seen to date.

Thanks, I think i got it. resized image.

I never stated anything of the sort. I've stuck to 25g at a time consistently. Trying actually reading instead of just looking for ways to take cheap shots at people.

Depends on how you define strength. You mean lifting big weights. Then correct I don't. However I would argue I do strength training. P90X1, X2, X3 has a lot of strength training in it. Strength, core, balance, but no big weights. I'm doing lots of pull up and push work with all the different types of them. I'm toning down…

Thanks. I ordered that book before taking off on vacation. It'll be at the house when I return. I'll go through that. Work has a nice gym with lots of equipment. I'm getting a coach to help me work through the right ones and around my limitations.

I started reading the articles by Alan Aragon. Found the simplyshredded website and will poke around there. I've read so muc misleading stuff on bodybuilding dot com that it gets confusing. Found a couple pf authors in there who make sense and have good FAQs that help. That's where I got a lot of ideas from. Aragon is one…

First, let me say thanks for the feedback. I was not intending to set off some religious war or anything. I've read plenty of Bodybuilding.com and other sites. Plenty of mens health mags and so on. I took from all that reading some basic ideas I thought were on the right track. That is how I have been doing it. I did get…

I have a an over the door chin/pull up bar too. It doubles as a ab and push up device but I don't use it for that. I will use push up stands just to give my wrists a break or just use dumbells as stands. I can't do 100 chin/pull/and other ups he has and do 10 reps of everything in the whole routine without help. I use a…
