Withdraw the extra in cash and give it back to your boss. Get a receipt form him, signed.

Essex girl here!

Hi there, I'm in Essex too  I've lost a lot of weight this last year or so. Some of it with the help of MFP. I'm now maintaining my weight - well actually maybe losing a little because who knows what damage I did in the past two weeks!
-
Make one change - that's really good advice. I did that every few weeks and 15 months later I've lost 6 stone and I'm maintaining. I wrote a blog about it a few months back: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/emsibun/view/goal-145984#comments

Really interested to see what an expert has to say on this

Add cooked turkey to a sauce made with red kidney beans, chilli peppers, roasted bell peppers and passata = my favourite turkey chilli recipe. Serve with brown rice.

I wouldnt stop working out because you've gained weight. This could be due to any number of things - water retention in sore muscles which are repairing, not drinking enough water, a little of it could even be muscle gain (but not a lot, especially if you are female and especially of you are not specifically strength…

My favourite healthy foods at the moment: 1) Fage 0% Greek yogurt. And the version that includes a little corner of fruit compote in blueberry or strawberry flavours. 2) M&S steak and ale casserole in a pot. under 300 cals - feels and tastes like over 600 cals. 3) Skimmed milk in my coffee. Can I taste the difference?…

Your mother in law sounds like a complete cow! What a thing to say to a new mum :grumble: You can definitely do this!

Supersize V's Superskinny - the TV program.

I had a look back a couple of days... I wonder, if you put a stop to the macdonalds nuggets and especially the fries and tried eating clean it might help you have more energy and be more motivated to exercise. That helped me  Well done with your weight loss so far! x
-
Hmm I think it's pretty stupid to assume that once you get your body fit it'll just stay that way! What about your mental health - the exercise and healthy eating are good for your mind AND your body

Charity shops (thrift shops, goodwill etc). To be honest, I could afford better quality clothes there than I could if I were buying new anyway. And better quality often means 'looks better', plus there are many different brands and sizes to try on so there should be something great there for you. This has helped me a lot…

You must've been losing inches rather than pounds for a while!! That's really good news because you've probably gained a little muscle weight and guess what? You might want to keep that muscle because it gives you a metabolism boost! So NOT losing any weight for a bit is most likely REALLY awesome news for you!! xx
-
Well done! Muscles retain water under stress - your weight gain might well 'disappear' as your muscles relax over the next few days.

^^ Absolutely what Kazzy_1 said! YUCK!

This really depends on you height, your chest and waist measurements - lots of things! I've gone from a size 20 to a size 12 - perhaps a 10 in some shops. My size 16 coats - some of them are fine, especially with jumpers underneath, but some just look plain stupid. It's the arms that I really notice the difference, my…

By squash she means water plus a flavouring - kind of like crystal light in America I guess. As a fellow UK person (Hi, by the way) I'd say that squash counts as it's a drink, however you need to log the calories which can seriously mount up! Squash can also mean a vegetable which is why someone commented about watermelon…

Do you have an iphone? if you do download the Nike NTC app - it's free and awesome!

Hello! I'm in Essex :)
-
Hi there, I've lost about 86 pounds in the past 13 months - I hit the goal weight I set myself on myfitness pal this week (I wrote a blog about it in case you are interested!). My youngest child was 4 when I started on this journey and I was in a similar situation to the one you find yourself in now. It's not impossible -…

OMG the Raspberry and Almond bake... I've had a couple: The first time I eat it then looked it up on here and, well I was an unhappy bunny. The second time I saved up because damn, they are nice! No latte for me - americano and skimmed all the way now.

Like any food, moderation is key. To cut out cheese would be unsustainable for you and might lead to failure so enjoy your cheese, but maybe cut it down a little. I agree that grating works well - I also LOVE cheddar!

There don't seem to be so many of us from Essex - plenty in the UK though!

Hiya :) I'm from Essex too - I've lost about 6 stone in total, the final two since I joined MFP

Exercise! Go punch it out, pound the streets with a run or powerwalk, dance yourself into a happy state - maybe even work it out at the gym. I know it sounds bizarre and you probably feel as if you have no energy to exist let alone exercise but exercising WILL give you more energy. and you will sleep better. Make it a…

As a mother of two - aged four and 6 - the only and best advice is the advice you already know - that you have to not give in to her. It's hard, and you will feel like a horrible person, but it will be worth it. You are the adult, you are in charge - she needs to see that this is the case for any changes to happen. YOU CAN…

As Huffdog says there's a lot you can do to exercise while a part of your body is out of action due to injury. Start your research here: http://exercise.about.com/cs/exdisabilities/a/disabilities.htm Stay on it, and you can do this! Back AWAY from the chocolate and biscuits too

If you do swimming and belly dancing each week you could try addressing how you feel about yourself instead because you sound like you are doing just great as it is
