New Jeans!!!

So I haven't really lost any weight in close to 8 months, but I haven't gained any either. I'm not finished but I decided I needed some new pants that didn't require a belt to keep them up. I went shopping on the weekend and found a pair of jeans that I liked but they didn't have them in the size I thought I had gotten down to (18), so I grabbed a 16 just to see. Guess what!!!!! They were too big, I bought a size 14!!!!! That's down from a size 22. I felt like a million bucks. Then to make it even better I went to LaSenza and bought new underwear. First time I have ever purchased anything from there for myself. I think this was the little push I needed to start working out again and start losing the rest of the weight. Maybe next time I'll be buying a size 10.

You must've been losing inches rather than pounds for a while!! That's really good news because you've probably gained a little muscle weight and guess what? You might want to keep that muscle because it gives you a metabolism boost!
So NOT losing any weight for a bit is most likely REALLY awesome news for you!!

Tbh I think its awesome that you have maintained your current weight without gaining or losing for a while. It seems like sometimes we need a chance to get used to where we are b4 we can move on. You need to at least take progress pics for yourself to see the new you--wearing a size 14 after a 22 must be pretty awesome!!!!0

Thanks everyone. I wore my new jeans to work today and got a lot of compliments. Wearing clothes that fit makes a big difference in how you see yourself. If you've been putting off buying new things until you lose just a little more you might want to try on some new things to see how much better they can make you feel about your journey. I really had no idea I had lost so many pant sizes and it is a really awesome feeling.0
