I'm a mom to 4 wild boys: a set of triplets that just turned 8 and another little guy that is 5; so my life is crazy, loud, and filled with fart jokes from having 4 boys! I'm always open to new friends on the same journey :)

You can do this! What type of help or guidance do you want? Do you have a food scale? That will make your life so much easier and ensure that what you are eating is calculated accurately

I had a full hysterectomy and oopherectomy at 33 and went on HRT about 18 months after surgery. So I have the new Fitbit Force and love it already; have had it for about 4 weeks now. I synced it with MFP and it adjusts my calories up each; so when it shows my new calorie goal for the day on MFP, is that taking into account my weight loss goals on here?

Hi! :smile: So I'm a FT working single mom to 5 year old triplet boys and a 2 year old boy; my life is crazy nuts but running is my free therapy and sanity. Now that my triplets are in school, I'm looking at buying a dreadmill because I just can't see any other way to get my miles in :frown:

I worked at an academic hospital and med school for 7 years and DH is an ED doctor...yeah, sorry but these people saying to demand a break aren't being realistic of a student on rotation. I'm mainly trying to track to keep up with carbs and sugar; but also to ensure that I'm getting adequate amounts of proteins and fats. I try to stay around certain amounts of calories but don't kill myself to do so :smile:

Last time I did turbo fire I tried to keep up my running but it was crazy hard with work, kids, etc. However, turbo fire improved my running dramatically so there's always that positive!

The only way I ever gained speed consistently was to put more miles in; I also found doing some tempo runs or fartleks were good for getting a feel of what it was to run at the fater speeds. Just remember not to compromise your form for speed or you will pay with injuries and pain. Good luck :smile:

Well what do you enjoy eating? That will give us somewhere to start; for some people taking baby steps work. And for some of us, it's a scorched earth policy from the beginning; only you know what will give you the best chance for success :smile:
