Congrats on your loss so far! We have similar goals we should def be friends. When I originally started on MFP I was close to 200lb and now I'm back up to the 160's so I'm working on losing again.

First off congrats on losing so much already! Aldi is great and I highly suggest it. I live in the suburbs of NYC so I know how it is... I think at this point I'm probably just re-hasing what other people have said but definetly shop your store sales. Only plan to cook with what is on sale and if you know you will continue…

I pretty much only eat homemade food and meal prep about 10-12 portions on Sundays so what I do is weigh all the ingredients individually prior to cooking, cook the food, then weigh the entire finished product and divide by the amount of servings I need for the week. It takes a little time but its the only way to be…

I usually drink a big glass of water and if that doesn't help then I know it's my body telling me I'm actually hungry.

Harvest moon! My favorite!! These days I get most of my video games second hand through let's plays on YouTube because with 2 jobs I don't have time to play on my own. :(

Also, if you are looking for recipes to make not just foods to buy check out www.Budgetbytes.com She breaks down the cost of every meal (in her area of course) and she also does a weekly roundup of what she spent on groceries and how she used what she bought.

I would not recommend pre-packaged meals like frozen WW or whatever. They tend to be small portioned, over salted and exceptionally expensive compared to buying the fresh ingredients it takes to make them. I suggest shopping sales. Look at your local flyers and plan your meals around what is on sale that week. If it's not…

In my area the farmers' markets are actually not typically cheaper than sales at the grocery store so watch out for that. It's good to know your prices and what you think is a "good" price per item. My best advice is shop sales. Look at your local store flyers and let them tell you what you'll be eating that week rather…

There isn't as far as I know but every night when I cook dinner I log it and my boyfriend views my diary and copies the entry into his. It doesn't give you the "recipe" but it will transfer all the nutrition info.

Green Mountain Colombian is my jam. I drink most coffee with a splash of skim milk but I could drink this stuff by the gallon with no milk at all!

Welcome! Sorry about the breakup but it sounds like you're really ready to be on your own and work on yourself! Add me if you want =) I'm 26 and I've been dedicated to losing weight with MFP for a year now. I log (almost) daily and cook a lot so if you want some ideas you can check out my diary.

I think the stuff they make at Boston market is fairly easy to make at home and probably a lot cheaper and no preservatives/ extra sodium to worry about that way.
-
Oh really? What temp do you bake it at?

Jeez no one likes dessert! Ok...

Egg/ banana pancakes always seem not to bad to me but I tried protein powder pancakes once... Never again... They were like rubber covered in syrup. I'd rather have a real pancake any day!

I'm Jess from New York. I'm 26 and about half way to 50 lost and I gotta keep going! I'd love for you to add me.
-
I'm 5'1" so you got me beat! Lol. After the holidays I am up to 163 so now is the perfect time to friend me! I log almost every day and I cook a lot so I hope my diary can inspire you.
-
Also make it all part of your routine. I plan my food the night before so I know what I'm eating and I don't go off track. When I don't plan my meals I get stressed out and don't know what to eat/ end up not eating at all so it really works well for me.

I think as far as exercise you need to find something you really love doing otherwise it can be hard to stick with it.

You have a crazy interesting profile picture in my favorite colors =)

Meee! I love cosplay but I don't get to do it enough. Also I always feel like I want to cospay characters that no one really know or would recognize because its usually generic clothes. But oh well. I'm hoping this summer to be able to go to some cons and show off the work I've been putting in on MFP ;) If you want to add…
-
Yes i would! Yum Would you dye your hair a crazy color like lime green or neon pink?
-
Nope! and I'm glad. I hit a pigeon once though.. HYE thought you were talking about someone who wasn't there and they ended up hearing you?
