5' - 5'2" girls I want to hear your story and pics!
I'm 5'1" and 24 years old. Right now I'm at 169 lbs but I don't have a really goal in mind of where I want to be so seeing some pictures might help me know where I need to get. I feel like its hard to judge people's weightloss because many people are taller than me and 169 looks very different on even a 5'5" girl so I'd…

Healthy dessert Recipes
I have a huge sweet tooth and I really like ending my day with a sweet snack and a cup of coffee but I don't want to waste tons of calories on dessert. Me and my boyfriend like to cut a pear in half and bake it with brown sugar, cinnamon, and a tiny amount of butter and each have half and this has been a very good way for…

Favorite way to eat cottage cheese?
I know cottage cheese is the most cliche diet food on earth but I am actually interested in eating it. I find it appetizing and it's a good source of protein for when I don't feel like cooking meats. I haven't had it in a while and I see a lot of people eat it with different toppings and mix ins so I wanted to get some new…

T25 Calories Burned
I just started up T25 last night and according my Polar FT4 I burned 240 calories in the 25 minutes. To me that seems really little... I was putting in pretty heavy effort but did have to modify the moves ever once in a while. I'm not complaining.. I'll take that for 25 minutes of work but I did expect to burn more. (Also…

TMI Sorry! Best exercise during that time of the month?
Uhg that time of the month... What do you ladies find is the best work out to do to both relieve cramping and help with bloating? My friend wants to swim today but I feel like going for a walk or run might make me feel better for some reason... Any opinions?

Joints click?
I do a lot of Zumba and I notice my joints click a lot.. Mostly in my hips and knees I hear it. It doesn't hurt, in fact I don't feel it at all however it is a pretty sickening sound! This doesn't just happen to me when I work out.. if my boyfriend leans on me the wrong way or pulls my arm or in other cases I hear clicking…

How to calculate calories for something pan fried?
I'm wondering how can you accurately gauge how many calories are in something that's been pan friend/ sauteed/ deep fried? Obviously not all the oil you put in a pan ends up in the food you cook so anyone have a way to at least estimate how many extra calories are added when using oil to cook?

How do you long 30 DS calories burned?
I am planning to start 30 DS today but I'm not sure how to log my calories burned. I don't have a HRM yet so I know anything I log will not be exact. I see options like aerobic, calisthenics, and circuit training on MFP but I'm not sure what to pick to give me a sort of round answer for how many cals I'll burn. Any advise?

What is the deal with Heart Rate Monitors?
Guys I need your help! After a lot of research on Amazon I bought a heart rate monitor. The one I got is on the cheaper side but it's my first one and I just wanted to try it out and even though it wasn't expensive it had good reviews. Now I took it out, set it up, strapped on the chest strap and got to work on the…

First post for hitting my first goal!
Hello all, This is my first post ever on MFP but its a big day for me! Let me tell my story quick. After I came back from a beach vacation this summer I decided once and for all to get back to my most comfortable weight (I've been overweight my whole life and don't ever expect to be a toothpick) which in most recent memory…
