  • I do think it has unfortunately died. I know I have not been on MFP much since I started the group. I would love to see the group come back to life (and if anyone wants to help mod the group and help breath some into it I would love that).
  • Awesome goals! Here are mine: - Bike at least 30 minutes each day - Do yoga daily - Figure out a lifting schedule - Track all food on MFP - Lose 4 pounds
  • SW: 197.6 CW: 198.2 GW: 195 lbs July 4: 197.6 lbs July 11: 198.2 lbs Not really a gain as my July 4th weigh-in was all kinds of botched...I *know* that I wasn't that weight for that weigh-in but I could not get the scale to read any differently unless I stood on it with weights. Anyways I am down to 198.2 from 202 as of…
  • Capers and leftover rice (toss up between jasmine or brown rice for favorite).
  • Annnnd one last question: how many days per week do you workout and for how long (or ideally how many days would you work out and for how long)?
  • Ideally you want to hit your macro nutrients and your calorie goal. Most definitly easier said than done. My main focus is on calories and then doing my best with the macro nutrients. Always an accomplishment when I hit them :)
  • Reasonable would be 9-10pm. Reality is around 1-2am.
  • Here's a Youtube link to my favorite 1 mile video of her's so you can evaluate how much/little it engages the abs: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ykPr0t2KutY Most of her videos are along that line.
  • Just stick with us until whenever your decide you have area he'd goal :)
  • Is the weight on your profile current? (14st 7lb) If my conversion is correct, you're about my weight and you should definitely be eating more (and my setting is on sedentary because I let my Fitbit add or subtract calories from daily activities or the lack thereof but the Fibit part doesn't matter, the base setting does).…
  • Few questions to try and help you: - What are your MFP settings? (ex. activity level, how many workouts per week and how long are they, etc) - Are you letting MFP calculate goals or are you manually setting them? - If letting MFP, what is the daily calorie goal that MFP assigned to you? - Are you eating back exercise…
  • Previous week would be best (for this week they are the same for me).
  • You're welcome :) MFP even keeps track of this break down right on your home page in the "Daily Summary" box at the top. I love being able to reference that quickly.
  • I do the same thing but with a crockpot...actually works pretty well as a rice cooker and the whole make the night before/in the am and just let it do it's thing during the day, awesome! Did not know rice cookers were so multipurpose, but makes sense.
  • Eat them back. It might seem strange but trust me, it works (did it before when I lost weight on this site, and doing it again). You want your NET calories (which is calories in - calories burned) to equal the ~1,500 MFP set for you.
  • Couple years ago, I didn't see the value in a fitness tracker...thought they were too expensive for things I was already sort of calculating on MFP. Reality, I bought a Fitbit One one a few days ago and love the thing. It makes tracking easy and I love "competing" against it daily to meet my goals and even beat my personal…
  • SW: 202 lbs CW: 197.6 lbs GW: 150 lbs July 4: 197.6 lbs Damn. I must have been really bloated when I weighed myself Wednesday or my scale is lying to me today (and I got on and off a couple times). My personal "official" weigh-in isn't until July 9, so we shall see what happens.
  • Exactly the plan. I was thinking of creating and sticking one thread (I think I can sticky threads in a group...could've sworn I stumbled upon that option somewhere...). EDIT: Found the sticky thread option. Now doesn't MFP lock posts for editing after a couple of hours (that's been my experience on the main boards...dunno…
  • Enjoy the recovery time and use it as a way to reflect upon where you are and where you are wanting to go. You could always look into some low impact workout programs that you can use in the recovery time if you really get antsy. Walking is fun and always refreshing. I also mix in some Leslie Sansone walk at home videos…
  • That would be fabulous and most welcome!
  • Been there, done that. Lost 27 lbs on here about 2 years ago, gained it all back plus 7 lbs. Ouch. Adding you, I think we can really help each other out :)
  • Never thought about setting the activity level to "sedentary" and letting the entries of the devices do their thing. I'm going to try it, looks like it's worked fabulously for you. I've been wearing my Fitbit One everyday since I got it and LOVE that I can sync it with my phone (I manually sync every couple hours it with…
  • We are our worst enemy and our worst critic. Kicking the b!tch to the curb. Done with her negativity.
  • I haven't had black bean brownies in years (since junior year of college when I had a vegan roomate...a good 4-5 years ago). Damn those are good. *googles for recipes*
  • *censored* *censored* *censored* *BANNED*
  • I was ashamed to be a nerd through middle and high school. Got to college, went "f**k that!" and since then have proudly brandished my nerd card whenever the moment called for a touch of nerd.
  • See I just sprawl out all over him. Not the most romantic cuddle in the world but it's effective.
  • :flowerforyou: Wonderful to hear! I'm getting ready for my workout for today. I'm sore from yesterday in muscles I haven't felt in ages.
  • Freeing willys all over this board aside (insert inappropriate wink if you desire), popular vote seems to be for Friday. First group weigh in this Friday, July 4th then?
  • I'm doing a Chalean Extreme/Focus T25 hybrid and mixing in my Leslie Sansone DVDs when I'm feeling restless and need to be active. Lost a bunch of weight with her a couple years ago.
