Hi! I think you look incredible, you should be proud of your hard work. I have the same feelings about my appearance sometimes. I am learning that changing my body is not the only work I must do to be healthy. I must also change my mind and accept my imperfections as part of my beauty. Good luck on your journey!

I like panera and noodles and company, they have calorie counts, smaller portions, protein, and veggies!

Here are my top salty snacks; 1. Skinny pop cheddar popcorn, I'm telling you it's good! 2. Dry roasted edamame 3. Pumpkin seeds 4. Soy crisps Other snack ideas 5. Celery with salsa or hummus 6. Pomegranate (cuz it's crunchy and tart) 7. Laughing cow light(someone else suggested) I like to spread on Sarah lee 45 calorie…

Good luck on your journey! I love this sight-I never lost any significant amount of weight before I started tracking my calories using MFP. I started walking on the treadmill for 30 minutes and now I run for 60. This sight helps me think about what I am eating, before I eat it. So, I hope you find all the tools here useful…

I do high protein meals, with two veggies and one is usually a huge salad, because it keeps me full. I also make smoothies with lots of fruit, yogurt, and protein powder. Other snacks I keep with me at work and in the fridge are snap peas, cut up peppers, celery, and cucumber, try dipping in a hummus dip. For breakfast I…

I have done like others have. I keep a size bigger but all my huge clothes were donated. I went from size 22 to 12 and personally decided I'm never going to be wearing a 22 again! Good luck !

You look amazing! Keep up the great work. I also just started wearing shorts again and it sure made me smile. Good luck on the rest of your journey!

Quiche-any kind you like, I like to add spinach or broccoli, tomatoes, onions, and a bit of cheese.

When you work in the mental health field it is easy to become jaded and I hope you do not take her advice. Many social workers struggle with depression, substance use, and past trauma. Find help from someone in a neighboring community as it can be hard to ask for help when you are worried about what other professionals you…

You must not stop trying to get better-search for the right therapist and a supportive group with people in different stages of recovery. You deserve to be happy and the people who love you deserve to have you in their lives. Being a social worker is hard work for emotionally healthy people so I can only imagine the kind…

Thank you for sharing your story. You are inspirational! Good luck to both you and your husband.

My "bad food" is 2 oz of dark chocolate dipped into low salt low sugar peanut butter, about a teaspoon of peanut butter. I consider this a substitute for reces pieces.

I got this idea from doctor Oz and I thought it was really tasty. I sauté broccoli slaw with onions and garlic and substitute for pasta, just be sure to sauté until really tender or the crunch will ruin the pasta like texture. It is really good and you can eat quite a bit. Good luck!

Make cole slaw! I would just respectfully add don't drink it plain or use on the skin plain it can burn your esophagus and cause contact burns on the skin. :)

For me: -Don't stop trying ever... -Eat regularly during the day or you will spend the evening mining for food in the fridge. -When shopping stay away from the middle of the grocery store or you will go home with junk calories. -Do reward yourself with items other than food. This helps me stay motivated.

I make chic pea and black bean burgers, personally I don't like the frozen ones! I have tried Boca and Morning Star. If you have trader joes they make a decent one. Have fun!

Egg frittata with spinach, kale, tomato, turkey bacon, onion, and cheese. I recently tried making egg plant pizza, very tastey but soggy! Be sure to use mozzarella, garlic, and fresh basil. Good luck!

Wow-completely agree with you.

I have learned: 1. Cooking in healthier ways actually taste good if you mix it up with what you like. 2. Losing weight is not as actually as difficult as I was making it. (I do not have a thyroid problem, am not big boned, and all the other excuses I made were just excuses.) It turns out after a chat with my doctor that my…

I still eat bread and like others I just eat less. I do low carb tortillas and whole wheat. I often make Philly cheese steak sandwiches baked on half a piece of French bread. Also, I do tacos in a romaine lettuce leaf. I could never stop eating bread completely, some people can, but I like bread! I make bread once a week.…

-Add lots of garlic and parsley and mix with whole wheat pasta.

I have always had sleep problems and have used medications in the past. I run in the morning and before I go to bed. This routine pretty much makes me doze off in seconds! I have friends who say exercise winds them up but for me it works! Good luck.
