  • Thank you. To those who suggested not buying in bulk? I know. Hindsight and all that. Their chocolate mint are very nice. I ended up microwaving it in a bit of almond milk, BP2, coconut oil, honey and a banana, all mashed together. Tasted a little better actually and kept me full until lunch. Will have to think of…
  • I'd say peas and broccoli.
  • Thank you for the replies, though my question hasn't really been answered. I know there is nothing wrong with protein bars, I know I should be able to eat them without explanation, but I also know that if I eat one in front of my friends I will have to explain nonetheless. Most of the time I don't want to do that. Maybe…
  • in the UK the Ben and Jerry's staff are taught that one scoop should be 84g.
  • Well hello Terry's Chocolate Orange segment!
  • I've heard coconut water is excellent for the morning after. Might work for the night before too? also, almonds.
  • Actually I'm pleasently surprised!
  • This is such a good idea! It was away, hence the slightly last minute topic! But for I am definitely going to look for some 1/2 measure spoons, thank you for the idea.

  • I knew if it was cooked or not. I didn't know if, when the description said 1 cup of rice, for example, whether it was 1 cup when cooked or 1 cup when uncooked. I do have a measuring cup but that's not practical when I'm in the company of people who look down on me for measuring. That's why I asked.

  • Thanks, I did that but the pictures that come up don't look at all like 1/2 cup rice, and even then the websites don't say if it's cooked or uncooked.

  • I log it first. I find it easier to keep track how much I am drinking that way, and then the next morning I adjust it accordingly. It is also more relaxing, because you're not mentally counting calories each time you order a drink, instead you just track the number of drinks.
  • Just want to thank everyone for your replies. I thought it might be just me who felt this way, when I did a google search all I could find were posts on body dysmorphia and posts on feeling fatter after losing weight, and this is none of those things. I do feel thin, but I also feel foreign and unusual. Perhaps it will get…
  • Do you cook the oats before, or leave them raw?
  • Well I wanted to avoid defining my goals so as not to get into a semantics debate, but I have lost enough weight now to be at the lower end of my BMI. I still have flab on my stomach and thighs and have taken up heavy lifting to, I don't know, re-comp? Build muscle? Something, so that I can eventually weigh more but appear…
  • So 3 sets of 3 reps is reasonable?
  • I did it. I ended up nearly having a panic attack when I was offered a piece of cake and had no excuse to say no. Then I put it all back on. Now I do about 1500 a day, I lose weight, I have enough energy for working out, I feel happier. But everyone is different. I think if you're questioning whether it's a good idea, you…
  • Might just be a bug, or stress, or one of those things. Doesn't have to be about diet or exercise. I wouldn't worry about it until it carries on for more than two days.
  • Came across this topic whilst looking for reviews on this. Would be interested to know if anyone has bought one.
  • Thank you very much, I suppose the consensus is to keep at a slight deficit then. I just don't really want to see the scale go down much further, even though, looking at my tummy, it needs to go down by 10lbs or so!
  • Oh no I don't do IF. I tried, but I just like the taste of food too much. Why would it make a difference?
  • I am so sorry to bump. I am still confused!
  • Honestly, my first experience was really very similar. I felt so humiliated, but I was not going to give up. Afterall, if everyone else in the class can do it, why can't I? I slumped home and sat behind my laptop with determination .Turned out I had the technique all wrong. The distance between the front of the seat and…
  • Well currently I am eating a deficit, so are you recommending I slowly increase to around maintenance? I don't understand how my tummy fat will decrease without a deficit, although I am aware I don't need to lose any more pounds on the scale.
