I wore my weight training gloves before lifting my bike and no more tingling or swelling from lifting it!!

I know he is the association leader because he introduced himself once. I just thought it was odd he went very far from where he lives and was right behind me. There are some communities that say no running because it is private property. I never see anyone else run here.
-
I was running in a jacket and sweats haha inappropriate clothing geez. I guess this is the last time I use these forums.

He does not know me personally or where I live. Yeah thanks for judging me. For 1. I was not rude because I was far away and is 11 pm so not like I am chatting with people while I run. I was not near him and I turned around about 100 feet or more before I was near him so I didn't really see him til I saw him turning around…

I tried to find the rules online and couldn't fine it on their site. I was running in the street. No cars around and no one else awake.
-
I thought it was unusual for him to follow me because it was 1130 pm. He normally does ask questions if he sees someone. I wasn't afraid of him following me since he was in an electric wheelchair but of it was someone running or walking behind me, I would be nervous about that at night.
-
It's just he saw me and turned around and followed me for awhile. Everyone sounds so negative. Anyway to answer one persons questions it's because the hoa tells everyone not to do pretty much everything...

He was getting the mail the going towards his house and saw me and turned around and went the way I went which is opposite of where he lives. I had the rules but lost them. My boyfriend don't think about it til they say something.

Thanks everyone its probably from lifting. I lifted my 40 lb bike over and over and sometimes with 1 arm and I normally don't do arm weights and mostly legs. It's a new bike..not used to lifting it. Then walked after and it was swelling. They used to swell on hot days when I ran far and was dehydrated or something but not…

You're welcome. Yeah it spikes if I'm sitting down and moving my arm a lot if it's not snug but it quicklt adjusts to normal readings. It's easy to figure out its spiking because it returns to normal and stabilizes but it's rare that it spikes.

But yes true the joint feels twinges of pain or pulling within the joint like the muscles got tight and are pulling on the tendons again.
-
I have a knee injury and doing light weights exercises exercises at the gym for my legs has helped slowly make pain go away because the other muscles support my knee
-
I wonder what is normal. I have no swelling and just a twinge of pain. It doesn't hurt to run but then some surrounding muscles get tight. I run and walk and trying to ease back into it. It's just on and off I have problems and when I did weights it got strong and was fine then I was sick and did nothing 2 weeks and it…

Thanks so much I saw a Dr but my Mri was going to be 500 so I didn't do it but she thought my mcl and meniscus are torn and it was really bad pain and I healed up and did weights slowly sn got strong and no pain but being sick and not doing weights hurt a lot. I can now run without pain and it's flexible again but I did…

So far the 235 seems close to my chest strap watch. I wore them at the same time. I just haven't tried it with hills. I heard some of the garmins have an issue when you first descend down a hill and it won't get the heart rate decline right away or something like that.
-
So far my 235 seems accurate. It will spike heart rates if it is not on snug enough but it stopped doing that after I figured out how to wear it for my wrist and above the wrist bone.
-
My friend has the Fenix and really loves it
-
I now have the 235 for 2 weeks and I wear it snug and it reads my heart rate really well. I tested it against my old watch that has a heart strap and they are about the same reading.
-
Thanks everyone I got the 235 to try the wrist thing out and I have a chest strap that can pair with it if it doesn't work out. I like the 630 too so maybe if I don't like 235 and garmin is nice, I will trade it in for a 630 and pay the difference.
-
Thanks everyone! I am reading a lot of reviews. I think I will get the 235 because of the wrist hr. Is wrist heart rate accurate? Also I like that it says vo2 and recovery time etc. I read there are problems with 630 software or back light. I had a forerunner with glitches before and it's annoying. 630/620 seems cool how…
-
So maybe I get a 630 then not 610. Someone said one of the 600 series had trouble syncing with garmin connect. I currently don't use garmin connect with my forerunner 110 lol. 225, 230, 235 all seem cool when a shop showed me. Is the wrist hrm accurate?

Thanks everyone I am leaning towards a 910x but want a 920 haha. But it's because I'm trying to get into tris and I had my old watch for 4 years so ready for one that gives me more numbers for running, but maybe just go for a tri watch. Then again there are some cheap timex ones I can use for swimming and just get a nice…
-
Thanks everyone this was all very helpful
-
Thanks I don't realize it doesn't record open water swim. That's good to know! (Vivoactive) think I will get a tri watch then

I don't sit working. I am a long distance runner and something happened to my hamstring at the same time my meniscus got messed up. It seems now everything is healing but the hamstring or back of my knee get tight and then pull on my mcl and reinjure it sometimes. Seems I have a hamstring tear. I am not getting my mri til…

I hope you can do what you love again. I can't yet. It has been 8 weeks. My mom had a knee injury for 2 yrs and can run again so maybe you can roller derby again with good knee protection braces on.
-
Thanks everyone! Oh no I hope everyone gets well soon. I was told to get an mri but don't have the money. I am not that bad off so I am waiting. I just can't go up and down stairs or run. I feel little to no pain most of the time. Sux though to modify my exercise to walking and biking. At least I can walk.

I replied more to you above too. As for shoes, good suggestion, but I got fitted before I got injured and ran for them. I tried shoes they suggested that were comfortable and insoles. Then got injured. I have different shoes because I think their stability shoes they recommended hurt me because i have high arches and…

My sciatic nerve doesn't hurt. That would be on the lateral side of my leg. My medial side hurt and back of knee was tight. Now knee cap hurts sometimes when the muscles are tight. Sometimes get bone on bone feeling but it goes away. I probably need to pay my $500 for my mri because my knee is on and off better and may…
