Jogging for two minutes is nothing to sneeze at - when I started I couldn't go for more than half a minute without huffing and puffing. Remember to aim for slow gains and don't over do it.

I have the same problem. I suffered from a herniated disc that caused sciatica -- I was out of commission for about 6 months. Luckily I didn't need surgery and slowly got better. It sounds like it. I recently found this article here - very in depth with hard science to it which says carbs are your biggest enemy to weight loss. Also make sure you're getting enough protein and doing at least some strength training! http://www.bullz-eye.com/furci/2010/get_shredded.htm
