I bought a 30 lb kettlebell, and do some swings when I get tired of sitting.

Thirty-five years ago, I remember reading "ThinThighs in 30 Days". Anybody remember that one? I've gotten better results with MFP and Fitness Blender.

Anything that involves jumping will cause a flare up for me. I've just accepted it, and do other things. I am trying to run again---just a little--because the benefits are so quick. But I can tell right away if I did too much.

At least you're brave enough to go to the gym. I'm going to try to start on my own, at home. Trying to figure out the minimum equipment needed to get off to a good start. Wish someone would just send me the links to what I need to buy (preferably on Amazon!). Best of luck to you.

Maybe you should try that Protein Fluff they've been talking about on another thread. I ordered the stuff to make it this morning.

My unscientific solution is to swig chocolate milk immediately before and after strength training sessions. And no--shame on me--I don't log it. But it seems to help with the day-after hunger pangs.

The good thing is...your dress will likely hide the bottom half. I have the same problem, and people look shocked when I wear a dress. I appear SO much smaller in a dress.

Another vote for Miller 64.

I'm in a similar situation. I'm still eating at a deficit, but loss has slowed to about half a pound per week, which I'm fine with. For several months, I've added a 10 minute Fitness Blender workout (usually lower body, with heavy dumbbells) to my cardio, which consists of two 30-minute hikes with my dogs (have to walk…

Miller 64. I've gotten used to it...

They contributed to the plantar fasciitis that I had for 3 years. To this day, I'm scared to do 30 Day Shred again.

Low fat chocolate milk.

We have flexible schedules at work. My plan is, when the time changes in November, I'm going to start working 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. That will give me enough daylight when I get home to exercise outside (hike) or at least do Fitness Blender in our bright sunroom. For me, darkness = time to prepare dinner, chill on couch.

Oatmeal, Greek yogurt, peanut butter crackers, and of course, plain ol' coffee.

We camp with a motorcycle popup tent camper. Have one big cooler that fit's on the tongue of the trailer. We freeze milk, tea, water, & steaks to keep cooler cold. First night we have said steaks, tomato biscuits (Grands), & maybe canned green beans. Subsequent nights we have to find a store, which gets interesting in…

Spinach & cherry tomatoes.

I just checked. I have a small balance, too. I would not have know what it was for, if you hadn't told me. Thanks!

Hershey Kisses Dark, Weight Watchers Fudge popsicles, and Quaker Raisins, Dates & Walnuts oatmeal--one of these treats can usually satisfy my sweet cravings.

Another proponent of fitnessblender.com. Free and, IT WORKS!

Looking for a Fitness Blender kettlebell workout, RIGHT NOW... :)

Sort of. When the scale started moving I got a fitness tracker to keep me motivated. (It worked!) After 15 lbs. I got some Powerblock dumbbells (like Kelli uses on Fitness Blender). Love those. I guess my next reward will have to be clothes.

Sounds crazy, but I swear by Crocs ballerina flats. Maybe the knubby things under the heel? Anyway, my PF has greatly improved since I started wearing them.

I loved my Shine 2 (2016 edition), until it fell out of the wristband and was lost. They claimed the problem was resolved, but it wasn't. All I was doing was walking. Don't know about other good trackers for cycling, but just wanted to encourage you to search hard.

Fitness Blender workouts. Filter the options by how much time you can spare, and go at it. I love the 10 - 15 minute dumbbell routines.

But I want to know the real answer!

Not a must-have, but I love my Vegetti spiralizer for making zucchini noodles (zoodles).

"Are any of the fitbits waterproof? That was the allure of the Misfit for me." That's why I got a Misfit, because it was waterproof. But then it popped out of the band at nothing (just walking), and it was $99 lost forever. I'm trying really, really hard to remember to take off my Fitbit Charge HR before washing dishes!

No, no, no to Misfit Shine! I bought the Misfit Shine 2 (2016 edition) after hearing about how all of the problems were resolved with it falling out of the band. Not! I had mine for less than a month. Loved it. Then it fell out on a hike. Copper colored disk on 1.5 miles of brown leaves? No way to find it. Went straight to…

Another vote for the standing desk. I made mine out of things I had lying around. (And I'm low-skilled in the carpentry department.)

Zero Xpozur is a brand I like. Kohls carries them. Sometimes I wear a Zero Xpozur top and match it with running short bottoms. Still looks cute and sporty, but not overly exposed.
