ha ha does it, must read up more about my ft7
-
as well as the link above, I just found this, its a good read and is starting to make a little more sense now :) http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/539912-why-eating-exercise-calories-is-so-important Edited to add, I don't have days like this everyday!!
-
Glad its not just me :)
-
I brought a HRM as MFP was all over the place with my calories burnt. I burn quite a lot in zumba as I work really hard and I am quite tall and defo not a small person lol :)
-
I can eat for Britain and don't know when to stop at times, but when I am not hungry I just don't know what to do. I think I am also trying to make up for my weekend away with the girls in Edinburgh, too much booze and food given up for lent ( I was allowing myself the naughty food given up for lent lol) I also follow…
-
Same as everyone else, I like to know exactly what I am burning and also like to keep an eye on my heart rate. MFP can under or over estimate calories burnt, so at least with my HRM I know what is correct for me I have a Polar FT7
-
so as a minimum I should be eating my BMR of 1640? What about the dog walking, can I class that as exercise if I do it everyday? The lightly active category is that suitable for me? Thank you :)

Thanks for your link and input!! :)
-
Excellent thanks for this. I do crunches, reverse crunches, plank and other bits but here is another good one. Should you being doing so many a day? so many a minute? etc Thanks
-
I love it - being doing it 3 years now I burn approx 700-800 per class Have it for the wii too (both versions)
-
well done you :) I started 4 days ago on 30DS....I am used to these kind of workouts but it is tough going
-
I like it more than the first one, but I do prefer class overall I say go for it :)
-
I am feeling the same after the 30 day shred, and really dreading doing it today, as I am doing it everyday. I am so sore. Did all the correct stretches before and after as per the dvd. Its just because I haven't done this for a wee while. Definitely keep moving, if I sit for a while that's when it is worse so I just go…

yummy!
-
I am 5'10'' I got to approx 168lb last time and prob needed to lose another 10lbs or so and tone up a little more. My aim will be about 160 and I will take it from there
-
This, i do a lot of it :)
-
Just did a guess on that site and its not bad to my HRM
-
I have a HRM and I burn approx 730-830 for 60 minutes. Before that I used to put it under 'aerobics' but MFP only told me I burnt 530 odd calories
-
Love it too :) Being doing it nearly 3 years, have both games for the wii too
-
Mushrooms, courgettes
-
I add my own using my HRM I have two children both weighing approx 2 stone and 2.5 stone and it is a phil and teds pushchair so one in the front and one in the back Its an excellent workout, and I never walk slow
-
I agree each to their own!! I don't force my views on anyone, its my choice not to eat meat, its others choice to eat it. I give it to my children, they can make their choice as they get older. Its the same for anything in this world though, being a mother I have come across breast vs formula, co sleeping/not co sleeping…

I take: one iron tablet one glucosamine sulphate tablet one Vitamin D & Calcium tablet one omega 3 (flex seed) vegetarian capsule one probiotic (high strength) tablet Berocca - multivitamin tablet that you add to water Interested to hear about the cinnamon and green tea tablets, do they work?
-
Interesting study. I love green tea, and the 'green tea with....' versions :)
-
Thanks for starting this thread, I love Quinoa but don't do much with it
-
well MFP tells me I burn approx 580 calories for one hour zumba, and my HRM says 840 - big difference!!
-
Thanks for the replies. I brought a FT7 and its fab, and obviously giving me such a different reading to MFP. I use the chest strap with it, its quite good to see my heart rate go up and down when I move/slow down etc. Only tested it on walks so far. Going to zumba tonight, this is really where I want to see the difference…
-
Have just tested my Polar FT7 and love it

The stress won't help either, but I agree, the fewer calories, exercise, weight loss etc, is all more than likely having an affect on your period. How are you iron levels too? I agree GP's in the UK suck sometimes!
