  • 1917. Pretty good for a war movie.
  • One of my few favorites. Just happened to be there at the right time.
  • I was planning to get on the treadmill to run 5 miles but then looked outside and it was clear and sunny and warm. I just went out and did it. So glad I did because rain is coming.
  • You'll sweat if you well-hydrated, but you'll sweater no matter what kind of cardio you do. It's only natural to sweat and the more fit you are, the more you sweat.
  • Just turned 50 and determined to feel 40.
  • Hi all. I'm also new and just found the thread. I just turn 50 in January but still feel like in my 30's, okay maybe in my 40's Does that feel wrong? The only bad thing is that physically, it's just harder to lose the weight and eat less even though I'm pretty active. With that, I have few March goals listed: 1. Track,…
  • Lock and Key is awesome. Sabrina is next.
  • @MrAcavano - Um... Doc Martens are still around. Just saying. I miss the late 80s now more than I did back then. The music was eclectic to say the least, but then I come from the new wave ideology, not the headbanger rocker type. I took this random photo back in 1987 Animal Rights Festival in Washington, DC. Oh…
  • Bagels are the way to go. Who gets filled up on one donut anyway? Eat two donuts and you've already eaten as much as one bagel with cream cheese, plus I'm craving more. Give me a bagel any day.
  • We just got back from Iceland in all its natural glory and thousands of waterfalls. It's definitely one of the most beautiful places I've been to.
  • I don't but not by choice. It is what it is.
  • Midsommar - Scary and disturbing but not in a gruesome way.
  • Lemony lentil soup with yogurt topping and soup. Yummy and filling on a cold day.
  • Crusty french bread with brie. Can't stop once I start.
  • I just turned 50. Yikes! 'm pretty active but need to control my eating habits. They say you can exercise all you want, but in the end it's what and how much you eat that counts. 5'2" CW: 148 GW: 125
  • Just turned 50 myself. No kids but a lovely husband of 16 years, and loads of plants. LOL! It's getting harder to lose the weight, but I'm ready for the new decade of my life to be healthy and strong. Exercise is not my problem, but delicious food is. Feel free to add me but include a bit about yourself and what your goals…
  • 5'2" here and want to get to 130 -135. Current weight at 148. The holidays were not good to me and must get back on track. For me, exercise is not the problem. Food is. Anyone who'd like to friend me is welcome as long as you tell me about yourself and what your goals are.
  • I started with StrongLifts 5x5. It take a long time for women to gain muscle. Patience and good eating habits are key to seeing the results. I'm on my 4th month lifting heavy( 65lb. bench presses, 95 lb squats, etc.) and it's taken that long to see some toning and muscle definition.

  • Hi all. I've recently found this group and would love to make friends. I'm a bit on the older side myself and a big birthday coming up on New Year's, so have started strength training as a newbie lifter. It has only been about about 2 months and I have a way to go, so I need all the help and support I can get. My current…

  • Downtown Washington, D.C.
  • Let's face it. WE all get old and there's no way around it. The only thing to do is grow old gracefully through health eating and exercise.
  • I don't want to look like a soccer mom, when I'm not, even though I'm getting up there in age.
