Ok yesterday I managed to keep it under control. I have been wearing a rubber band and snap it to keep me present and mindful. I know that sounds a little sadistic but it's help to snap me back into the present and focus on my goals. Today's been a good day. Tomorrow and the weekend is the hardest. I can keep on track I'm…

Well thank you but that photo was from last summer. A year of dieting took it's toll I think and lead to crazy lol. Yesterday went well. Stayed within calorie range even drinking a glass of wine which made things feel less restrictive eating wise. Today I'm more hungry though. I know my body is losing fat and trying not…

I never finished my post lol. That's what kids do for ya. Interruptions lol. Anyway I am so lost with my diet. I used to do well eating balanced diet. Then I read too much confused myself. Intermitting fasting, fighter diets, high protein, low carb. I feel confused ugh. I need to go back to simple. Calories in vs calories…

I'm doing terrible because I can't stop eating crap. I've had too many emotional eating episodes. There are reasons, most recently a death in the family, but it's time to get it together. I had French fries Saturday night and they made me so sick I threw them up. That was my body's way of saying no more crap. I'm used to…

I've gained 6 pounds since November and I still had a few to go to get to goal weight. So I'm shooting for 10 by end of April too. Have a 20 year high school reunion this summer so that is my motivation.

You can add me. I also try to eat as clean as I can but with 2young kids best laid plans don't always happen. Right now I'm getting over stomach virus so I've been eating white flour, but trying to lay off all the fiber until I feel froggie again.

Me- 17 Binge- 6 Yesterday was bad. Stupid Pms. But feel better today. If I can do 10 days in a row no binge I'm rewarding myself with hair cut.
-
I love this. If I could just break free... Especially the weekends. This is my year! January so far: Me: 13 Binge: 2
-
This is my biggest problem and my goal for this year is to figure out why I binge and how to get it under control. I'm in and need help.
-
This is also my goal for this year. I have worked very hard putting on muscle for the past year and now it's time to see them. My biggest problem comes from over eating on the weekends. I eat very clean most of the time, then my dear hubby s bad influence on the weekends ruins what I've done for the week (I like to blame…

5 days going strong. At least I got through one weekend. Weekends are my Achilles heal. If I can conquer them I can do anything.
-
I also gained over the holidays. Really it was my birthday in November and from then on. Ugg but back at it. Goals for this year : 1. Do a triathlon 2. Get down to 15-18% body fat by April 1. ( at around 24 right now.) 1st monthly goal is to go 31 days without cheating defined by staying under calories and eating clean. I…

Acsm recommends .8 to 1 gram of protein a day for athletes. So somewhere around 85 to 100 grams of protein would be appropriate and beneficial for you. Bodybuilders who get kidney failure wouldn't be because of protein intake.

Awesome everyone! Let's hear some more.

Jenelle-that is great you are feeling your pants looser. That is always motivating. Sounds fun a state fair. Bad food all around. I'm not on track. I don't know what s up with my head. I've been binging. Stress I think. I've been so busy. That is why I haven't been around. I started a new job, it's just par pt time but…

I'm doing terrible. I don't know what the hell is wrong with me. This weekend I. Totally went over board especially with the holiday. I feel really fat and bloated. I have totally been sabotaging myself. I don't know what to do to get my head back in the game.

NO,no, I don't mean sad for everyone, I mean it's sad that people are getting hurt and the people responsible for designing the program (Reebok and trainers) are not doing enough to ensure
-
I would suggest hiring a trainer who can set up a program for you based on your goals and they can also show you how to use proper form for different exercises. Then also start reading magazines and websites and educate yourself on exercises. But starting out you don't necessarily want to be sore though a little soreness…

I've heard this a lot too. I've been intrigued by crossfit, but never done it. But from what I've seen, some of the moves look very hard on your shoulders and I know some one too who has had injury and surgery too from crossfit. Sad.

Not a silly question at all. But yes you will have newbie gains and take advantage of them while you can. Lift as heavy as you can. You will eventually get to a point where you won't make the gains like you where. But if I can get at least 12 or more reps it's time to increase the weight to where I have a hard time getting…

Jenelle-I do not eat back the calories I burn. I try to eat 1380 calories a day is what my goal is for now. I don't think the calorie counter is very acurate, so I don't use it. However when I run a long run I know I've burned at least 500 extra calories and do try to increase a little on those days. Well my ody is really…

It has been a hard 2 days. Period has not been kind to me and dh had hernia surgery today. So making all the best choices hasn't been the easiest. But did manage to get a 4 mile tempo run today. Just trying to keep it together right now. Tomorrow should be more calm and back to normal. Will get back on track with my diet.…

Pms sucks. As I've gotten older my periods are further and further apart with more torturous days of Pms. Really bad Pms where I am very hateful, can't control my words or my eating. Last month I just kept feeling like stabbing my self in the head . So lets just say I've had too many chocolate cupcakes this weekend. Ugh.…

Body glide. Running stores have it or ****s have it too. Love the stuff. Plus finding the right shorts or capis are great too. But body glide looks like a stick of deodorant but is totally clear and doesn't leave a greasy film or any thing.

Friday I got a 3.5 mile run in which actually felt pretty good considering I was pretty sore from Thursdays leg workout. Of course from the amount of icing I had I should have ran 10 lol. DS party was fun and some of his friends came and they all seemed to have a good time. Today's challenge is not eating any more left…
-
Thanks Jenelle but you haven't seen my butt, it needs some help. :) Yesterday's workout was a good workout I ran 4 miles. I ate about 1300 cal which was a little bit under what I wanted to eat but I'll make up for it tomorrow since it's my son's birthday we will have cake and pizza. Plus I'm planning a re-feed on Sunday…

Jenelle - sounds like you have got a great plan too. I also have 2 kids and it's hard planning around their schedules and the unplanned things that come up. You are welcome to report back here if you would like on how it's going with you. Accountability sometimes is all it takes to stay on track. So yesterday was a good…

Whiter the bread the quicker your dead. Remember that rhyme goes for rice too. ;)

I go back and forth on the stevia thing. Sometimes I use it when I really need something sweet but don't want the calories, ( mostly to sweeten iced coffee or greek yogurt) but I don't think of it as "clean" since it has been processed. I think of it as the lesser of the evils as far as no calorie sweeteners though.
-
You can add me too. I'm also not perfect, but I make a lot of stuff from scratch, so if I'm eating cake I'm making it lol.
