Hi all- 48 here and have about 20 to lose. I’ve slowly gained weight over the last 10 years and I just feel yucky. I’ve always worked out regularly but I’ve let the diet go and need to focus more on the diet.

I wouldn’t necessarily do ‘detox’ If you are trying to change your eating habits than just focus on what you need to change. I have pretty good eating habits but just needed a reset after the holidays, and a few other personal reasons.

Yes I’m the same with detox - just clean eating and drinking more tea and water. But I’m also doing a vegetarian diet and I’m usually a meat eater. Alcohol and busyness: when ever thing get busy my self care goes away. I eat like crap and drink. Like the past 2 weeks. Too much traveling for work and this week is running children to all their sports/ stuff

Yes me - my plan is 1500 total cals and I lift weight 4 times a week and run 5-7 times. If I eat clean and stick to it I can get there. Dont focus on the weight loss, focus on how much weight you can lift, or how many miles you can run or walk or whatever you like to do. Set a goal this week that has a focus on that and just focus on that and not the pounds. It can help get you past the fat days and once you accomplish one success it begets more success.…

Well for the past 2weeks I've not binged. I wanted to get to July in control. I do feel in control of it right now. The meds have been a godsend. I don't know exactly how they are changing me but I just feel more in control of my emotions and definately my eating. so July is going to be even better.
