i have a non hormonal, old style copper coil - i can't have anything hormonal because it SERIOUSLY messes with my appetite/weight. the first few periods are heavier after it's inserted - which also isn't a partcularly fun way to spend an afternoon - but they return to normal and i find the pros far outweigh the cons since…

i just drain it all out of the tin at the end, and tip the loaf out onto a rack - covered over the top with tin foil to keep warm - and let it drain some more while i plate up. never tried a turkey loaf (but i will now!) but this works with other meatloves i've made before.

this was the first time ever of trying it - after reading so much on here about how 'awesome' it was. i thought i'd better not just pass it up entirely in case there WAS a better way of eating it. turns out, there probably isn't :D for me anyway!
