I've been doing her online workouts and her dvds for almost 4 months and the results are amazing. I am so much stronger in all areas. She has a great program. I normally have to do at least 2 levels a day in order to get a good workout but I've been doing it for a while. Also, her online program suggests doing cardio only…

As a mom to 12 kids, now fully potty trained I would say just wait it out until he has the ability to comprehend his actions. IE, peeing on anything and everything. I could see how that would be a pain. Out of my 12 I only have 3 boys and all my boys were not big on being trained. Mostly near the age of 3. They too could…

Same thing here too. I began doing Jillian's workouts over 3 months ago and for at least 6 weeks of that time my knees were killing me. Both of them. I was a member of her online program until last week and I posted there about it and got some great insight. I tried the braces and ice. I was told pretty much 2 things. One,…

Sometimes I run into this problem myself. I found that if I plan on burning x amount of calories late then I just eat that much more during the day. Mostly I get my workouts done in the morning but sometimes I don't. My husband has been doing P90X and many times he has to workout at 8 at night and he doesn't want to eat…

I have all of her dvds. I joined her online site and was a member for 3 months. My account just expired 2 days ago. I was doing her online workouts mostly and the dvds. Each day I would print off the workouts. There are 4 a week. I have so many workouts printed now plus her dvds that i didn't rejoin for $$ reasons. I lost…

I love Jillian's workouts. I've been doing them for nearly 4 months and lost 11 lbs so far. I have most of her dvds and do her everyday. Great workouts. Not sure if I can join in on 'checking in' each day with you but I'm in with you. I homeschool and have 12 kids so I really don't have much computer time. I'll "try" to…

I wear a pretty good heart rate monitor. I think my calories are pretty close to what it says. I know water is always my down fall. It's the only thing I do drink but I always forget to drink. I get busy. Tricia

Oh you are so close to your goal. Hang in there and hold your head high. Those last few pounds are a killer and you shouldn't let THEM affect you. I hope things begin looking up for you. tricia

That's what my husband is constantly telling me. Use the tape measure, and look at the how loose your clothing is fitting. If he had his way the scale would be in trash. Thanks for the encouragement. Tricia

Don't really have enough info to say precisely. Would need things like height, weight, age, activity level, etc. For where it sounds like you are, it could be too little because of too high of a loss/week goal. Read the first 2 threads I posted and that should help you determine a healthy goal/deficit. Edit: Also, it is…

Hi All. Thanks so much. For the questions you asked about my net calories this is what a day may look like. target calories is 1200 calorie burn is 700 actual calories ate for the day after all is said and done is about 1900-1950 I do normally eat back my exercise calories. Am I eating too much? Not enough?

It didn't even begin hurting until I started strength training. Cardio never affects it. I've worked out my whole life but am just now beginning the strength so wondering what that could be. tricia

Thanks guys. There were a few different answers. I have about 15 lbs to go at this point and I'm really nervous about hitting a plateau again. I stayed at the same weight for 8 months before the scale began to move again. It makes sense to me to replace those calories burned through working out and have at least a 1000…

I tried adding my own exercise but there was nowhere to add my calories. I did a little over an hour of my Jillian Michaels online circuit training. I ended up having to just log it under cardio when actually it wasn't cardio. But I seem to only be able to add my calories in the cardio section. Tricia

I've had days like that!! But mostly they were/are very wonderful. I see you are doing P90X. My husband and 3 sons are doing that too. Tricia www.mommyx12.blogspot.com

Thank you soooo much. I had a feeling I was in the wrong. Just by going by how I would feel at the end of the day. Exhausted to say the least. I did have one week I logged where I looked back and noticed that my calories were up upwards towards 1700-1900 after good workouts and low and behold, THAT was the week I lost 2…

Thanks for the welcome and the tips. Maybe that's it. MFP wants me to be at 1.3 instead of 2 because I thought I had done that correctly. Yes, I have 12 kids. Ages 29 to 5 and they are all mine. (Oh, and my husband's too!) We have homeschooled them all since our oldest turned 5 and are still in the game for a while. I also…
