• Good on you. You should be so happy and proud! Job well done.
• There's a body media group, if you want to join! :)
Yes I would love to. How do I find it? I don't get on here that much so I'm not too familiar with everything. Thanks
• So if dropped the numbers after you sat down? I thought it gauges (somehow) what you are doing rather than estimating. Isn't that what the armband deal is for? The sensors on it. What do they do then if not gauge your movement.? ETC
• Thanks everyone. It's actually NOT working. I called body media today and they worked with me on things and we discovered it doesn't work so I need to return it. Bummer!!
• I have been doing yoga consistently for over a year with a qualified instructor. I suppose a day off here and there won't me!
• I'm not bad on my diet. I don't mind being a size 8. Afterall I did give birth to 12 preciois kiddos! It is not my diet or weight anymore anymore; it is just that I am tired of being so sore and stiff when I feel like wuth all the yoga I do I should't be so! I am simpky wobdering if I am still over doing my work outs!
• Thanks yall. I will increase protein and see how it goes. And I don't so much stress over the scale other than it freaks the crap out of me to see 170 again!! I am a perfect size 10 right now which isn't great but hey I've delivered 12 kids!! Tricia
• I eat very clean. Whole grains, fruits and veggies and all that. I'm okay really with what the scale says, but it freaks me thinking I've gained it in fat. That's my biggest fear. Tricia
• I find that works for me. If I stop think about 'dieting' for a day or two then throw myself back into it then it's usually just enough to get me back into the game. Good luck!
• I love her workouts and Bob Harper. I have all their dvds and do them daily. Great stuff. Been using them for 9 months so far. tricia
• Oh man, you need to eat back those exercise calories. At least most of them. Listen to what people are saying here who have actually put it into practice. I am 50 and workout 6 days a week intensely burning between 500 to 800 calories according to my HRM and I eat back nearly everyone. Not always, but most of the time and…
• For me, I take Sundays off completely. Food and exercise. For 6 days a week I am really, really good at keeping my calories in tact. At times though I wonder if I might in the end be a tiny bit lower than my number of 1500 calories. I usually end the day with between 1300 and 1450. That said, I think my cheat day keeps me…
• I had the same problem in the beginning. I found that if I had several small meals each day I did better. See if that works for ya.
• This has been rehashed over and over and over and over and over and ooooooooover again. Its irritating. There is a search function for a reason.
Could be true. And if so, then just skip over it and ignore it if it irritates you. It's that simple!!! No snarkiness intended either, just a suggestion.
• Simply fabulous!! I think I'm giving it a month from Sunday. Until then, only working out and eating right. The numbers thing can take a hike!!! I'm taking a vacation here at home. Tricia
• I just love bringing my sorrows here to you all. Everyone, you are all so great. Thanks for the encouragement and uplifting words. I think I'l take a nice long break from getting on it. That is what my hubby says to do. He thinks I just need a good break from the numbers and just live my life. Heck, that's what I did on…
• Hi Helen. I do only weight once a week. But I am loving the suggestions about just not even getting on it. It really does get old and I am so sick of it. I think though I would be crying if my clothes were tighter as well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tricia
• I've been there. If I don't consistently eat them back I plateau. Never fails. I went on vacation a few weeks ago and only continued my exercising not at all paying attention to what I ate. I stayed exactly the same weight. Got home, began my calories again and gained a pound. My husband told me, "I told you so. On…
• I hope you're eating back those exercise calories. I never lose until I do. And even then I have to up my calories closer to 1500.
• lol, did you take into account stuffing yourself with enough food so you can sleep for months at a time? I wonder how you would log that? tricia
• I have been doing JM dvds for several months now and in the beginning I totaled like 240 doing the shredd and ripped in 30. Now, months later I'm only hitting about 180 per level. But I normally do them twice back to back for a better work out. tricia
• Sounds like you are doing everything right. I wouldn't say that's too much cardio. Combining it with your strength training makes a well rounded week I think.
• Awesome. God is so very good.
• Oh you definitely can do it. 71 piounds is absolutely amazing. See you've already proven you can do it and are on your way. Good for you. As for an ideal weight. What's that?????? Really what you should be working for right now is NOT an ideal weight that someone made up but work for your health. It is amazing how…
• So I burn an average of 550-700 calories a day working out. Freedieting.com gives me upwards toward 1764 on one day. So I would eat the 1764 AND my exercise calories?
• Thanks so much. I thought it seemed a bit high.
• I do eat lots of fruits and vegetables. I do pretty well with my water too and I am doing interval training. I don't do the same thing everyday. I guess I'm just wondering if this is a temporary weight gain from bumping up my calories or if it was in fact because I ate too much. Temporary meaning that it was a jumpstart to…
• I've had 12 children and worked out with nearly every pregnancy. With my twins I worked out until about 7 and a half months. I did step aerobics with them and I found that by the 4th month I could hardly take it. I found that it basically make me nauseous the harder I worked and sweated. So at that point I began to walk…
• Amazingly it is possible. I just turned 50, have given birth 12 times and determined to lost the last 10. It is definitely a snail's pace but hey, I've come a long way. I've been doing Jillian Michaels for nearly 4 months, only cardio for the last few years but it wasn't until I began with JM that the weight started coming…
