I do indeed have insulin sensitivity recently diagnosed with pcos will I fare better on low carb? I am not overweight btw :)

How did you originally find cutting the carbs? Did it leave you tired and hungry? As that's what puts me off low carb most of the time. Thankyou!

And I know but it's likely that when I do reduce my carbs it will be easier if I've transitioned off grains and into mainly fruit

I am small but hold excess fat in the things and have read this is often due to carb/sugar storage.

I just said above, but you answered the thread just as I posted so you wouldn't have seen it :)I want to lose body fat and maintain current muscle mass as I'm hoping to build a little more when I have shed fat.

Loss of body fat whilst maintaing lean muscle. I strength train 3x a week doing interval circuits with weights for 45 minutes- 1 hour a time then finish with 15 minute Hiit after that. I also do Hiit for 20 minutes 3 times a week.

You need good carbs and more protein. Try Breakfast: try porridge for breakfast with berries, a teaspoon of honey and cinnamon Lunch: try quinoa- a grain that gives more protein if you don't want to give up grains, choose quinoa a vegetable of choice & some healthy vinaigrette or something.
