Hi, Solmaz!

Hi, Karen... Once you get that "bi-pass bad news", it's easier to get and stay motivated! Seems like you've got your feet on the ground. Welcome!

Depends on the amount of insulin you make. Your body has obviously done well in switching over to burning fat.
-
You are knocking it out, man!

Wow, Brenda! My last TSH number 7.742, I think. I'm fixing to get checked again. As for bone density, I wouldn't worry too much. You'd have other symptoms and wouldn't feel good if it were a problem, I'm thinking.

You are on the mark, Eddy! Keep at it! You'll find your body will keep you at your current weight once about 4 months pass and you maintain. It's a good idea to gradually increase calories and activity, but only do so as your lifestyle dictates so that you can adjust properly.

Sometimes, when you're inundated with discomfort, it's best to go for some light exercise. It will push your body into having to fat-adapt itself.

You guys have risen to the top (not that I ever doubted you).

Welcome back, Vanguard!

Totally true.

I'm not even trying. Just sort of the result of a near-vegan approach.

I still take a B12, Ashwaganda, Eleuthero, D3, and, well, that's it. I'm not super-regular. As long as they are taken within 6 to 8 hours of eating, no need to worry about them being hard on stomach lining.

Just think about how good it will feel when you get past it.

Wowy! Nice progress!

The "splurge" thing is one of my regrets because people invariably think that means to binge--it just means to let yourself go for a day and not restrict as you would with a standard, well-controlled portion. Maybe stretch out the feeding time or something. But people get the wrong idea.

Of course.

Avoid the tendency to enlarge the acknowledgment of a failure. Just act like it never happened and don't even dignify it with more than a reflective moment. If you don't do that and it happens again, you will know you need to reassess priorities or find what it might be you haven't come to terms with, but otherwise, just…

I am. I feel younger, stronger, and more vital!

Hello! Welcome! No need for luck - you can do it if you decide to! Just keep a 90/10 carb-protein or fat ratio, ideally, and don't starve your brain of glucose. If you have PCOS, follow this: Add in these important items to your daily routine: 1) Apple cider vinegar 2) chamomile tea 3) oolong tea 4) White (Navy) beans 5)…

Anytime scales you use are off, always divide the results and call that your "official" weight for that week. Vegetarian is an ideal choice. I keep getting contacted about people losing their best (many of them PCOS and hypothyroid women who have REAL trouble losing) and they go to a 90/10 regimen (carbs vs protein or…
