As you lower your calories, your body will be compelled to kick you into fat-burning a bit more. That may have been the problem.
-
I'm soooo happy for you! I had no doubt you could do it -- same with 170. No need to worry at all.
-
It may just be taking you longer to adapt. No worries. Just keep moving forward and your body should adjust.

All, as a rule, anything more than 15 or 20 calories total will score an insulin response, thereby making you hungrier.
-
Yes, because any calories that are not pure fat will stimulate insulin production. That may be why she is hungry. And that's why caloric beverages make OMAD harder when it's not the mealtime.

Fung is completely wrong on the sugar-spiking. There is none whatsoever in the vast majority of cases. And coconut oil I have NOT found to have much affect on appetite. At least for me.

Try now.

Keep going. Sounds like you are facing your big plateau (we all have them up front after a bigger loss phase). Try dropping the cals to no more than 1,500 for the next week. Are you carb-dominate or protein/fat-dominate in meal choices? Add in green tea if you have not already--and ACV.

Also, tell me about your beverages and any medical conditions.

Describe yourself, your goals, and your general meals? We can work one-on-one if you are interested.

Yes. It takes so much to get one's body to grow to new levels (down or up). It requires a good amount of dedication (eating and working out). It's hard to eat a lot and blast one's muscles consistently each week! Fun, yes, but still hard!

It will vary. I averaged 2.6 to 3.4 lbs per week, with lows hitting .3 and highs hitting 5.4 (only once). Expect variances and don't get disappointed when you see them, but once you establish a very consistent pattern, your body will start downsizing like yours is--with larger chunks coming off more consistently.…

Dito! Good job!

Yep. One can learn to combine splurging, foraging, OMADing, and general fasting for one heck of a mind-body experience.

I can tell you this; in order to grow, I must: 1) Work each muscle group AT LEAST three times a week. 2) Work out lightly even if I'm still sore a little but still have full range of motion. 3) Get plenty of protein. 4) Neglect no muscle groups. All muscles grow together. 5) Constantly change the workouts to prevent…
