I went to the gym from April to November this year when I had my surgery. When I was healed up from that I switched over to P90 and it's much better for me. The workouts are better structured so that I'm actually doing beneficial exercises rather than just running on the treadmill until I'm tired and it forces me to…

@MaxPower0102 A slimmer Guy Fieri?

I used to proper lap up the attention I was getting but it does embarrass me a bit now, that and people have been aggressive to me as well who are likely jealous due to their inability to diet which wasn't particularly nice. I'm still trying to get used to not being obese :/
-
Yeah, I know nothing of it but don't waste your money. Just eat at a deficit and you'll lose weight.
-
Excellent work! Wish I'd kept my big jeans now!
-
Yeah that's what I've been on and lost fine (at least for the first six months)
-
As with others above, I've been on anti-depressants since a week before I started my diet in April and I've lost 70 odd pounds in that time (taking off christmas weight gain!) so it's not a death sentence, you just have to work around it.

Ahh I should've said I'm in England, we just have the website saying "Notify me - £119.99". There is an online store that has them for preorder at the RRP but I'm waiting to see everyone compete for sales.

- Oreo Ice Creams - Cadbury Chocolate Fingers - Mars Ice Creams - Chocolate of any kind really I bought some cooking chocolate to make treats for people at work and managed to eat the whole slab of it before I got round to cooking :/

Good point, I never check the post dates, I just presume people aren't going to resurrect dead posts from 2 months back!
-
Well definitely do not stop taking them but maybe you need some structured exercise if you aren't already doing it? Otherwise review your goals to have a greater deficit.

As someone else said before on these forums "Avoid anything called The ______ Diet"

I did the gym for 7 months and it was great but unstructured. Now I'm doing P90 at home instead 6 times a week and it's making me use a lot of muscles I never touched before.

Got a really nice coat as all of my winter coats are three sizes too big for me now :)
-
It's useful if you stick to it. I've lost 73 or so pounds since April and I doubt I would've been able to do it without MFP :)
-
Hi Roxanne, I was the same when I started (seriously obese, scared of the gym) but after going there a couple of times I realised that not one person gives two craps about what anyone else is doing and are certainly not judging you, no matter what you may think :)
-
Lift weights and do core exercises
-
Not sure why any one should help you when you are being so outwardly aggressive to anyone who is pointing out the reason why you can't set your weight so low.

Thoughtful

#2, looking good mate

Aww thanks, means a lot! :) Will do!
-
Great going man!

Hehe thanks, yeah I was getting grief for the selfies but no one seemed to appreciate that it was a new experience for me to be happy to be in photographs rather than shying away from them but oh well they can deal with it! I just wish the female attention filtered down into real life!
-
Yeah I agree. My gym is very no thrills and not particularly inviting but has all the equipment I would need and is cheap. I imagine they get a lot of sign ups that quit immediately like other gyms just on the price of their nearby competitors.
-
Aww thanks you guys (especially you Ryokat ;) ) Here's the comparison using the above pic and one I took in the lift the other day I'm using as my profile pic haha

I'm hoping mine will tighten up after toning, my own fault for being obese my whole life and waiting 26 years to sort it out.

Thanks Court :) Oh since it's the work xmas party tomorrow night, I found this pic from last year's party lol
