I've had to stick to 1.5lbs a week even though I have 20lbs left to lose as if I go any higher on my calories I just don't lose weight.

It's good to take it seriously, not to the point of making yourself ill, but if you're doing it properly then you have to be serious about it.

I'd be judging them that they are standing around talking crap about people rather than sorting themselves out. Then again you can lose the weight, they'll always be b!tches!

Do this ^ If you have trouble sticking to diets then an "elimination" diet will be even harder.

Just eat within your calorie allowance and you will lose weight. Simples.

As unpopular as it is here I weighed myself every day for a year. Obviously there are fluctuations but it allowed me to keep track of everything. And like as others said, don't use cups to measure solids, food scales are where to go.

Treat it like the big lifestyle change it is and adapt. That's how I did it, it becomes second nature after a while. Just don't do any fad diets or anything like cutting out 100% carbs etc, that always leads to failure.

When I started at 19st I started running too quickly into my diet and my ankles still play up as a result. Start walking until the feel confident to jog, don't rush it.

Great going man! I'm hoping to emulate this, before I couldn't walk up the stairs without getting hopelessly out of breath and now I'll be doing the Color Vibe 5K like you in June!

I only use my exercise calories to have a protein shake that I didn't want to use up my normal calorie allowance or to cover a slight surplus from the day.

Keep strong, every day that passes it will get steadily easier. I kept a tally of how many days I went without the sugary foods that caused me to binge and it helped me keep going.
