I work full time and also attend a college. I don't have children, only in-laws that really like online gaming, so that takes most evenings. Don't laugh, but that's how we stay in touch. Anyway, they know I log out between 9.00 and 9.30 to exercise. That's just what happens. Trying to keep it under 40 minutes, otherwise I…

Pilates and standing ab exercises. Don't forget about lower back. Definitely check with the doctor first though.

@Quasita thank you for the amazing testimony

Ya'll will slaughter me here but I believe there is more to CICO than meets the eye. Human body is not a car engine, it is much more complex. There are multiple variables that can throw the math off. Heck even the calorie intake and burn measurements are often extremely imprecise. Until they invent some sort of an implant…

That sounds like a beginning of an eating disorder. You might want to talk to a doctor.

I am 5.1. It is a constant uphill battle. Sometimes I have to be content with losing only a pound a month, which I guess is ok considering that I am in the higher range of a normal BMI. Every extra pound shows. On the plus side, every lost pound also shows.

Thank you, very informative and balanced view

The same Traci Mann that claims that obesity is not necessarily unhealthy? Ok
-
Depends on your height, weight and gender. I am 5.1 125 lbs and I only add about 150 calories with my 7-8k a day. Also, did you select sedentary as your activity level?

He is catering to the "Fat Acceptance" movement. That's all it is.

I talked to him about this idea and he said he can't do that because it feels like he is cheating me out food. Idk he is weird that way. It took me years to convince him that eating different things for breakfast (i love eggs and he dislikes them, for example) doesn't necessarily mean that I am looking for a divorce…

please keep us posted. My process is very similar

I am 5.1 (ok 5 and 3/4). Honestly, I would love to get back to double digits (97 lb), but that took way too much work. I'd be happy with 110 and some muscle. I have a pair of goal pants, so fitting into them again would be a major win regardless of the number on the scale. 125 currently. It is moving so slowly! The…

@RuNaRoUnDaFiEld the doctor ran $800 worth of tests and said that "hormones are all fine, it can be anything, everyone is different". I just learned to live with it.

The thing is that I didn't eat more than normal. I stuck to my calorie deficit and pushed myself exercising every single day. I ate more only on Sat and Sun and that's when the weight came off. Just trying to understand what was going on. Edit: I also made sure to drink at least 60 oz of water during the day, which is…

I think the biggest problem is that he loves cookies and pies and I am quite good at baking. So every once in a while he requests something yummy and I just have to comply. As for his cooking, he leans towards Mediterranean cuisines which is ok except for the occasional detours into fried potatoes and the like. We both…

@RuNaRoUnDaFiEld Because of pain, diarrhea and debilitating fatigue. I can barely get through the work day in the beginning of TOM, exercising is out of the question.
-
@jemhh because a) he's the cook in the family b) we have at least 2 meals together every day c) we both freaking love food, tasting different flavors etc. When he tries to cook according to my calorie deficit, he ends up hangry and starving, or eating unhealthy snacks to fill up. It's a canandrum. I wonder how other…

@cheryldumais I'll try... Thanks for your kind words. TOM is coming up and that means i can't exercise for at least 3 days. This is going to make it that much harder. Just have to pick up the pace later I guess
-
@cheryldumais Right, I understand that. But things like that do mess with one's head. Besides, it is so difficult to stay in a calorie deficit with a fit husband, who has an active job and maintains at around 2300. Arrgh. Cheat days are almost unavoidable.

Seriously, what's your secret?
-
@whatlunasaid yes it felt awesome. I HAD to eat something after it though
-
I completed one of the Fitnessblender's 1000 calorie workouts last week... I didn't burn 1000 calories due to my small size, but it was very satisfying to endure a 78 minute intense workout.

You look 5 years younger! Keep going.

If you are talking about your profile picture, then it is indeed noticeable.

Hello! Age: 31 Height: 5'1" HW: 130 (Yikes! really shows on a shortie like me) CW: 126 GW: 110

I'm sorry but I think the answer is pretty obvious. You jumped 600 calories, so go somewhere in the middle, like 1500 or 1600 and see how it goes.

I had to use a rubber band to fasten my pants. From there it was a decision of either buying new pants, or losing weight. I chose the latter.

I tend to be very sedentary on Saturdays due to homework for some online classes I'm taking and general vegging out afterwards. But Sundays yes, they are crazy busy. Singing in church services, cleaning, grocery shopping, you name it. I usually don't even log on Sundays for this reason.
