Wow thanks for all the responses guys! I went for a run last night. I ran 4.2km, it took me 34 minutes but my goal for the night was just to run continuously. Tomorrow I plan to do the same route and shave some time off. Thanks for all your advice! So many awesome ideas to try out! Thank thanks thanks!

I generally follow the 'don't eat 3 hours before bed' rule. Would consuming a slow absorbing protein shake before bed mess with absorption? If I'm trying to lose weight, should I only use the slow absorbing in the morning? Does it matter? Thanks!

I've used hummus before and it's really good! Lots of great homemade recipes for hummus to make it that much better for you too. Good luck!

I would assume that's just a portion of what your body burns in normal functioning...which is included in your calories when you entered your BMR. I wouldn't categorize that in your exercise...if that's what you're getting at lol.

I did very well:smile: I stayed within my calories ( I had to add some exercise to an otherwise planned day off, but that's ok). What a good idea!

Thanks for your advice! It gets your heart rate up a bit. Mine was between 90 and 125 (normal resting rate for me is about 45-50). I just thought with the added intensity of the heat (as well as being 90 minutes instead of my usual 60 minute workouts) it would be more calories burned than traditional yoga.
