I will join you. I lost 70 lbs 2 years ago and recently gained 20 of it back. I have to make sure what I weigh right now is the highest I go and start a quick trip back down.

I just started again last week. Did great during the week but not so much on the weekend (carried over through Wednesday). Back to serious tomorrow and plan to repeat the success I had two years ago. On a positive note, I only need to lose the 15 pounds I have regained over the past 6 months.

September Goals: lose 5 lbs keep carbs under 100 gms/day Run at least 28 miles bike at least 200 miles swim at least 6 miles The swimming will be the toughest hurdle as I have yet to get in the pool this month. Not my strong suit. Lose 15 lbs by Thanksgiving Learn to not hate swimming.

I love all Heinlein, Card, and Clarke. Just read Metal World and enjoyed it. Fae Fever series was great. I am a major Dresden fan and am reading the most recent now. I enjoyed Harry Potter and Hunger Games. I was afraid to start reading GOT because I really enjoy the series and didn't want to compare, I may start reading…

Thanks. I will try that. I have unfortunately been getting my supplemental calories from giant Costco muffins this week. On a positive note I haven't gained any weight, the muffins are gone, and the purchaser of said muffins is out of town for an extended period. The protein shake will help get me back on track I am sure.

Some gyms offer a personal orientation to the facility and the equipment. Some even offer a complimentary personal training session in which they will help you figure out how to reach your fitness goals. It doesn't hurt to ask!

A long time ago my nickname was "Amira" princess (or spoiled little princess to hear some tell it) I became large and decided to add large (kabira) to the nickname. Soon I hope be able to change it to medium sized princess.

It does not matter which meal you eat when. I will sometimes have pudding 3 times in one day, breakfast, lunch and afternoon meal. I try for 3 hours between meals. If I get hungry before the 3 hour is up or after I have had all my MF meals for the day I have an optional snack. . So far so good.

I have lost 55# in a little over 4 months. I have increased the intensity of my workouts (spinning 3x/week) and have stalled. I just started 4-2 in an attempt to get the scale moving down again. Does anyone have other thoughts that might help?
