  • Hi! I'm on my first week and trying to adjust my mind frame to food, again! So far have not noticed anything with the shot but don't expect to for a few weeks as I'm only on the smallest dose. Trying to stop the major sweet tooth that I have! We got this!!!
  • Congrats! Keep up the great work!!!
  • Increase your water intake and exercise. There are a ton of free online exercise programs - including walking in place or walking in small areas. - and remember we didn't put the weight on in 2 months and aren't going to lose it all in 2 months. Slow and steady wins the game. You can do it!!
  • I have heard one of the hardest things is the fact you still crave food. Are you going through this and if so how do you deal with it?
  • Just went to my learning session today. Didn't realize I needed 6 months of physician supervised dieting to get my insurance to pay. Made an appointment for next week with regular doc to start that process. What exactly does that mean physician supervised diet? Do we have to lose weight in the 6 months? I am kind of bummed…
  • Thanks for setting me straight. Now to take a deep gulp and eat that many that many calories a day! LOL. I know it's the way to do it but my mind keeps telling me I am crazy!!
  • OK, trying to figure this all out. I have figured my BMR at 1886. TDEE is 2924 so a 15% cut will be 2486 calories per day. I have entered in 2486 in MFP and updated all the macros accordingly. I attend Farrell's Extreme Body Shaping 6 days a week - 45 minute classes - 3 days of kick boxing and 3 days of resistance bands.…
  • I would like an invite please!
  • I too am in for the long haul of losing at least 100 pounds. Add me for support!
  • I'm in! March 30: 253.6 April 6: April 13: April 20: April 27:
  • OK, sorry I seem to be really think headed on this but when I look up my TDEE it is 2210 and my BMR is 1845. I have been on 1500 calories a day for about 2 months not and have only lost 4 pounds (all in the first month). I am pretty sedentary right now as I am so out of shape but hoping to increase activity as I lose. So…
  • 1 Sara Lee Thin Bun - 100 cal 9 Tbsp egg beaters - 70 cal 2 slices turkey - 50 cal Total 225 calories for a great breakfast sandwich!! Keeps me full until lunch.
  • Hi. I'm Brenda. 48 years old, married 25 years, 3 kids - 22, 17 and 15. Live in Des Moines, Iowa. Have been steadily putting on weight and have had enough! Love MFP but still need to get myself motivated for exercise! Portion control is one of m huge issues! I am learning to control it but there are times when I fight…
  • I used to watch it but it is so unrealistic I quit. Those folks are doing nothing but working out 8 - 10 hours a day and they have people cooking food - or at least telling them what to cook! Last time I looked, I have a job which takes my 8-10 hours a day, a family to take care of and no one cooking or helping me cook! I…
  • I for one think 1200 calories is too low for many people! I am supposed to be taking in 1500 or so and only losing 1 pound a week but since I started a week ago I have lost 2 pounds - and I don't feel like I am starving myself which means I am more likely to stick with it. Keep your chin up and you will start seeing the…
  • That's an awesome success!! I have only just begun but am happy that I have actually lost 2 pounds! Be happy you are on the rode to where you want to be!!
  • We use our George Foreman Grill all the time!! It is quick and easy to use year round.
  • In same boat. Tried this before and didn't get too far. Need motivation and support because I have to take this weight off! Please add me and we can support each other!
  • All of the above!! I can't seem to get motivated to do anything right now. I know what I should and shouldn't be doing but that's as far as I get! LOL. I am trying to get back on that moving wagon and start watching portion sizes again (that's my huge downfall!!) Let's do this!
  • I am right there with you! I get really motivated when reading and seeing the photos but then I look at myself in the mirror and think I will never make it! I just really started getting serious this week so I have a loooong way to go. Keep with it and let's get through this together!!
  • I too love to eat. I have been putting off losing anything because I just feel overwhelmed and don't really know where to start! I am determined to at least start out this week by getting on the elliptical at home for a short time every day. Gotta start somewhere...
  • Awesome! Thank you!! And it will help me explain it to my teen who thinks she needs to try to starve herself to lose weight!
