  • Cool Regentin!! So happy for u! I'm sure eating more will be helpful to you. I started out barely eating exercise cals back. Now I eat back all but like 100 or 150. I can tell my body needs them! Please make sure to give it two weeks or more, because it'll take some time for your body to adjust :)
  • Woo hoo!! Way to go! Congrats to you!
  • I'm about 135 lbs and wearing a 4 or 6 depending on the brand. I just bought the cutest pair of Banana Republic jeans in a size 6! What a great feeling that was!!!!
  • Boobs r all fat, so they r typically the first thing to go! When I was nursing I wore a 38D, some bras were DD. Since finishing nursing and losing another 20 to 30 lbs I had to get new bras. It was a sad occasion, cuz I went from a 36C (post nursing) to a 34 A!!!! I haven't been an A cup since I was 12!
  • Tue 08/09/11 05:28 PM A. I drink roughly 128 oz each day B. I feel that I am on a plateau at the moment, so hard to answer, but definitely h2o fueled a jump start to the weight loss. C. Drinking that amount helps me to feel hydrated, my skin feels nourished, and allows me to workout and train for a half marathon...if I…
  • I use the crockpot. I mix 8 cups of water and 2 cups of oats in crockpot. I cook them on low for 8 hours, usually turn it on at 10 pm and then when I wake up in the morning I have freshly cooked oats. You can put dried fruits and other tasty items in it too. I add cinnamon to mine. It makes about 8 cups of oats, so I make…
  • I love it! I've been doing it for about 10 weeks. The first 4 weeks I did it 6 times a week. The last 6 weeks I have done it about 4 times a week along with other running, walking, elliptical, etc (whatever floats my boat that day). I love how ripped my biceps and triceps are and how much stronger I feel!
  • I think you r rocking it in that dress! The color looks great on u!!
  • Current pic at Warrior Dash 2011 Michigan...before the race!
  • I would agree on the running store idea. They will watch you run or walk and pick out shoes depending on your stride.. Typically they give you 10 days to 2 weeks to try them out. I would also recommend buying one or two pair of running socks at the running store. I used to get blisters all the time while running and…
  • Welcome to MFP! You'll find great support and motivation from this site! Feel free to add me. I'm a mother of a 2 yr old and a 4 year old, both boys. I definitely needed to get in shape to keep up with them!
  • LOVED every second of the Warrior Dash! It was a lot of fun! I wish I could run a 5k like that everyday!!!
  • Isn't there a 2nd one in Ohio in Sept?

  • Thanks for sharing! Great post! Keep up the good work!! I've been struggling with the eat exercise calories debate in my head for quite some time. Your explanation of being near goal weight/BMI is just the info I need to give it a try!! Thanks again!

  • There r lots of yoga apps for the IPad and many r free. Don't know if that helps, but it may be a way to get u started. I started by dvring a short yoga show on Fit TV. I learned some beginner poses very quickly from there.

  • I haven't done 30 day shred, but I've heard lots of good things about it. I have done ripped in 30 for the past 55 days or so. I like it a lot because it has given me a lot of muscle definition, especially in my biceps, tricpes, quads, glutes, back, etc. I feel stronger in my abs, however there is only 1 minute of ab work…
