  • Thanks! I actually still wear some of those old clothes because I just haven't had the $ or the time to get out and buy new things. I do see it when they are hanging off of me. I even put on the size twos and think to myself, they must have changed their standards for who can wear a size two. I look at them when they are…
  • Thanks for all of your responses. I think I'm going to stay at 1200 calories for now. I've upped my weights and lowered my cardio. I think I'll see how I feel around the end of the month and hopefully just go forward slowly and work myself off of this loss plan to the maintenance. I am happy where I am at and I see it…
  • As a couple other posters said, I officially weigh-in once a week. However, I do weigh myself more often (probably 3-4 times) to make sure I am on track. I think sometimes though it has to do with self-control. If I can keep myself off the scale for a week, I can keep my calories at 1200, does that make sense?
  • Showed the pic to my husband and he thought 2 or 5. I think 2 is just looking sexy in general, so it's hard to go off of the just body type. I think 5 looks good, healthy and fit.
  • What if you were to make dinner for them? Tell them you are trying to eat healthier and these are some of the new recipes you've tried. Maybe you guys could go in on groceries together. It's probably better to broach the subject sooner rather than later though for sure. Good luck!
  • I think places are required to have that information, but if they don't, ask how they make it (butter, oil, etc). After finding out those things, I would just do my best to estimate. I don't let not knowing the exact values stop me, but that's just how I am with this. I try to make wise decisions where I can with the…
  • I think those scales (the dr. kind) are pretty accurate. Our scale (digital) usually was within a few oz. of the scale at the drs. office.
  • i usually eat about 1/2 of them back. I generally record my exercise as it is listed on here and the machines I use often say fewer calories, so I just feel like it's on the safe side to eat some, but not all of them back.
  • My kids are a little older, youngest is 3 1/2 now. I would encourage them to workout with me. They are pretty adorable doing some of the moves. Also, I used to used me oldest as a weight to do different things. Fun times for both of us. Is there anyone you can do childcare with? You watch their child while they work out…
  • Just keep at it! It sounds like you're doing a great job. I remember last year when I started working out every day and eating well, I didn't lose anything at all the first two weeks and then the third week when I stepped on the scale, I'd lost 6 lbs. Sometimes it doesn't show on the scale immediately. Also it could have…
