Don't worry about it...as you get healthier, you'll look healthier..thus younger. IDK if it will help, but I've been using rose hip oil for my blemishes...at 40 I still get pimples with my cycles...people have recently told me how good my skin looks, and my face is far clearer than it used to be. The Rose hip oil is…

My troop earns $0.75 a box. We've set a goal of selling 164 boxes each. It's a higher goal than needed, but we set that so that the girls who are unable to sell that many can still go on our trips. The girls goal this year is the overnight trip to the Boston Museum of Science. So their pittance is actually quite nice for a…

Are you working out at the same levels? On the same machines?

I'm so glad you posted this! I drink 12 cups of water a day and have noticed my pee is bright orange but I don't feel dehydrated...now iwonder it its the vitamins I just started.

SO is it safe to say it's 250 calories burned? I don't eat back my calories at this point, but do like to keep track of them.

Keep going! Stay active!

Various things will help for various people. I developed PF after an injury to my right arch last June. First it was the PF was to me left foot (due to walking differently due to the injury to the right arch). Then when I was able to walk properly on the right foot, it too developed PF. I tried the exercises. I kept…

So you've already been working out of 45 days? I'd keep going at the same exact level you are going (cleared by your OBGYN of course). Best of luck!

Will update when I hear from the coach. Yes, a healthy bulk.

It doesn't make sense that you are waking up feeling fatigued. Is the kiddo sleeping through the night? Are you? I'd go see the primary care doctor. Are you iron deficient?

What she said!!! I will use the elliptical, bikes, stairs, weight machines at the gym but WILL.NOT.RUN!

He came home telling us there are only 2 weight classes open...120 and 150. 120 is NOT an option.

No. I was answering the above comment about why he shouldn't lose weight. I don't think he has anything to lose without losing muscle. I want him to do this in a healthy way. I'll just talk to his coach and see what his recommendations are. How is it a disadvantage (Can you tell I know NOTHING about wrestling)

What does the rice taste like? Is it sweet?

Welcome, and good luck!

We don't feel it is healthy for HIM to lose...He honestly has like zero body fat. - Ok, not zero, but very low. I don't want him to start on the 'I've got to lose weight' bandwagon. (For a while this summer, he said he was fat and needed to lose, and he routinely skips meals, saying he isn't hungry, but *I* worry it is for…

Are you exercising every day? I just read a study talking about exercise being just as effective at treating depression. Throughout his life, my coworker JC has been on all sorts of antidepressants. He says that the best thing for him is to exercise daily. It works...I don't have depression, but I can tell you that when I…

That's a really smart idea!

Are you seeping well? What makes mornings the hardest?

How about entering into a cardiac rehab program through the doctor's office? I'd do what you can...don't over do it, but maintain as much as you can...what about different types of activity...do you think bike riding or water sports would be too much? How about breaking your activity up throughout the day?

My biggest motivator is to be healthy. When I am around my family, it's like my mind gets reset. They are very overweight, and eat unhealthy. Mom and dad spent last week with us, and I didn't see my father eat a single piece of fruit (we have apples, bananas, oranges sitting on the counter). Mom is limited by her Crohn's…

Hey now...no criticism...an honest question was asked. Medications can have SERIOUS side effects, and prednisone is one of them. It treats inflammation...it's a corticoSTEROID! Here's a link to the side effects...not any I want to have...http://www.drugs.com/sfx/prednisone-side-effects.html Some of us go to the doctor,…

Warm prune juice...gross, but usually effective in 4-6 hours. Coffee helps as well. There's this herbal tea - Smooth Move...VERY effective. OTC meds: stool softeners and laxatives (Colace and/or senna) for prevention, a dose of MOM in the evening before bed, or Miralax. To bulk up your stool..Metamucil (fiber) or simply…

I've always assumed the weight gain with steroids is associated with the long term use, not short term. I've seen it in some of our patients (I'm a nurse) but they've all been on a low dose long term. I've personally taken a few rounds of prednisone over the years without weight gain. I'll have to ask our pharmacist about…

Seriously though, my kids LOVE this. We serve it as a veggie with our meals...not sure they'd survive if I only fed them cabbage for supper!

Neat!

Drink a big glass of water, and if after 10 minutes you are still actually hungry, not bored or irritated to be up so early, then eat.
-
You can help this. I've had four pregnancies, 4 csections. It takes time, but exercising, working your abdominal muscles, reducing your body fat percentage, all of these will help.

I consider this huge! Think about HOW MUCH STRETCH is in underwear...they're bound with elastic, made of stretchy fabrics. You're at a good place :) How much weight have you lost so far?

YOU are amazing! Your sister would be so proud of you. Keep going. Redefine yourself!
