  • When it's warm enough I fly fish at a local park with river access. Yesterday evening I walked further than I have in over a year (even after a 30 minute run at lunch on the treadmill). I ended up catching more fish because of it!
  • You've inspired me, what a wonderful story, thanks for sharing
  • These companies that crank out junk food spend millions of R&D dollars every year to create addictive "snacks". I feel your pain because I've been there, I was a savory food guy, any kind of potato chip or Doritos bag that came into my house never saw the light of the next day. I can tell you from experience though that…
  • Good luck to everyone here, the stress of 2020 caused me to backslide hard, but now that the sun is out and the temps are up a little getting back to 1 sixer max on the weekends is the new plan, so far so good.
  • Getting back into keto myself after a year of stress eating caused me to go back on tortillas hard (anything in the pantry can be a burrito if you try hard enough). Keto and IF were the easiest ways for me to keep weight off before the world ended. Good luck!
  • Keep up the great work!

  • ^ this, I went to the grocery store last night to pick up some dog food and saw they had house plants that looked like kale outside and my stomach started growling, my stomach thought the house plants were food :D I love the taste of the juice now but it did take a few days.
  • I'm on day 8 of an all juice fast right now for at least 10 days and possibly as many as 60 if I can hold out that long. I've done 7 day water fasts before but those never ended well, always ended up just starving the whole time so I would overeat at the end. So far in the past 7 days i've lost 11 lbs and I feel fantastic,…
  • Welcome! I agree I really didn't expect much from this site when I signed up but have been very pleasantly surprised, all the tools for tracking and reporting are fantastic, and the forums are full of positive people.
  • I've only been on the site a couple of days myself but i've already learned a lot and have seen what a supportive group this is. I would be happy to try to help you stay motivated when possible... so feel free to friend me if you want :)
  • I just joined the site and am looking for motivated folks too, friend me if you'd like :)
  • I think the fact that you feel guilty means you've made some great decisions in getting to the gym so regularly, having said that obsession is obsession whether it's manifested in overeating or overexercising. Balance is key to happiness so chill out, have a drink or two, and remember you have a life outside of your…

  • I used to drink several diet cokes daily, I had to give them up because I realized I didn't really want them I was just drinking them out of habit. Since it was a habit I could never just drink one. I broke it by buying a nice klean kanteen water bottle that i really liked and I keep it my hand and full of water at all…
  • You could just deficit yourself the 200 calories however that would work best for you, like all at once or about 28 calories a day for the next 7 days. I have just started working on my weight but I fully intend to play this game with myself on days when I go over.
  • This might be a little off topic, but I drink a lot of coffee and my teeth were already stained, but a few months ago I started making my own tooth paste and my teeth are much whiter now (and my gums are actually healthier). The toothpaste I make is a combination of baking soda, hydrogen peroxide (3%), salvia natural…
  • Thanks!
