Whew! Good to know, thanks!! I was so worried I went way over in my carbs LOL
-
Ok well I just had some angel hair and ate 112 g because 56 g seemed like hardly anything lol. Guess I'll have to measure it dry and cook separate from my hubby next time to see what it is. Thanks.
-
Oops I always thought with pasta if it is 2 oz dry then it would be 4 oz cooked for around 200 calories. So it is still only 2 oz cooked for 200?

Well obviously I am new to this macro thing, I've done Weight Watchers for years and finally got sick of it after my last round didn't help me much and wanted to try something new since I now work out a lot more and have made it part of my lifestyle. So anyway I thought I would do the calculator wrong so I decided to just…
-
Thanks!! I didn't even know they had that!
-
Thanks!

Hmm I thought it was open. I'll try to open it. I've changed my calories on it now to 1530 though but you can see what ive been doing. I use a food scale and also measuring cups/spoons depending on what I'm eating. I just want to at least start losing something to know I'm doing it right
-
I just did another calculator and it says I should be eating 1513 with light exercise of 1-3 times a week. Hmm
-
The calculator I just did on that same website has this: Your BMR Is: 1275 Your TDEE Is: 1681 Not sure how I figure this out though - this is why I paid in the first place. I wanted to know how much of the macros to eat
-
Lol yeah. Plus they send email newsletters everyday
-
I understand. 1660 is what I'm eating including my activity level. I am going by the macros of 120/160/60 (but I just lowered to 120/150/55). As I read it if I met those macros it equals to 1660. Is this not right?
-
Well you fill out a questionnaire and they send you your macros you need to lose the weight. It is called the macro blueprint and if on their website www.iifym.com
-
Actually I miscalculated, I've been doing it since 9/27 so it has been 16 days. I am weighing and logging everything. I only messed up 2 days and didn't it the macros (still didn't really cheat though). My diary is public
-
Ok. That's what I thought too but since I paid $47...thought it would be accurate. I put down that I do not have an active job and that I do cardio 2x week and strength training 1x. I'll check into the other calculators
-
Thanks so much!! I will definitely do that!
-
Just a little more cardio Stats are 120 protein 150 carbs 55 fat (just dropped carbs and fat - was 120/160/60)
-
^incldes, not uncles
-
I weigh 151.4 now. Started at 150. I'm 5'2" and I weigh and measure everything. The 1660 comes from the blueprint I got. It uncles 2 days of cardio and 1 day of strength training which I've been doing
-
I believe this to be true as I can tell in my ankles lol. But it feels like I always go over in sodium. I'm losing patience
-
-
I paid IIFYM to come up with these numbers
-
I'm also looking for more friends for support. You can add me @ mdavis69@bellsouth.net

Thanks for all the input. I already belong to Fitness Connection and try to go 3-4 days a week. So OTF doesn't do any weight classes, just cardio?
-
Ok thanks!!
-
Well it feels as though when I do eat more I gain whatever weight I lost back. I may put it up another 100 calories to see how that does. Thanks!
-
I am close to my goal - I have about 9-10 lbs. left to lose. I am 5'2", 46 years old and already in menopause and I know that can stall weight loss. I go to a trainer 2x a week and he is the one that suggested I try low carb and so I am trying it. I have had some bad days where I eat a lot of carbs and I know it throws me…
-
Thanks all. I will tighten up on my calories.
-
About a month. Yes I'm pretty accurate. I also work out 4 days a week. I have a hard time keeping my fat down when eating this way though.
-
TGIF! Definitely the weekends are harder for me for the most part although I tend to move more on the weekends as I'm not chained to a desk all day so that really helps!
-
Found it! Thanks!!
